A wonderful 20 hour catch-up with a man who's been a friend since age 18. Laughing... He was actually one of my virgins. But that's in the dim and dusty past. We have wonderful memories in many states and countries. Chosen family. He was the first to visit after the birth of first son. A significant friendship.

We had perfect weather the entire way, and only a few traffic slow-downs due to construction and an accident we miraculously missed by sleeping later than usual. Perfect trip!

How I love a road trip, when everything is ephemeral. Safe travels, don't get too stiff out there, remember to get out at stretch every now and then.

Also, Pennsylvania is one of my favorite states, 'sbeen too long since I've visited...

Oh yes, I am a dedicated stretcher! I always have a yoga mat in the trunk if necessary for reclining stretches or picnics. This trip was just standing stretches every 2-3 hours. I'll leave the stiffness to you...

YAY, PA. Farms and fieldstone houses... Gorgeous old barns. PA and VA are my longest states on the route I use.

Glad to hear the roads were good to you yesterday. 85 can be a bitch.

Thanks, Alex. I had my first wig back in high school. But then a lot of decades without. I do enjoy playing with wigs and personas. Funny thing about packing: some of the categories I had to winnow down. I'll only pack four wigs, four fans, four toys [ooops, I slipped an extra into that category, but it was small... And glass...]
