You probably don't want to hear this. When I am having a bad day I have to consciously reset my brain. If I am expecting assholes they magically appear. If I am expecting nice people that might have a problem I can deal with that.

If you expect shit you get shit.

well, since a person can really only truly know about 250 people i gotta say you're likely jumping the gun on at least a few of those which means that it's highly likely that you kinda suck a bit yourself.

Sadly it's always the bad ones we hear and read about.
But we've found the world is full of good people....................... bad lawyers and politicians. But that's another story!

I know I can't be friends with everyone. I know that most people won't like me. But I don't understand why it seems like sometimes even total strangers go out of their way just to be cruel to someone.

You need to hang around different places and smile more.

I'll swear almost everyone we meet is friendly and could become friends if we pushed it.
Then again, there are some we don't like to get close too while shopping.
