Over 8,000 Americans were held prisoner during the USA's loss to Canada in the War of 1812.

It was no big deal. America used mostly Kentuckians and didn't really care if they got em back.

America will spend the weekend watching John Wayne movies.
A man who used 3-A to get out of serving. (deferred for family dependency)
John Wayne was 34 when Pearl Harbor happened. Married with 4 kids.
Henry Fonda was 37, had 3 kids.
Fonda gave up his movie career and served.
But hey! The Duke made 13 movies while the war was going on.
Let all Americans stand and salute John Wayne this weekend.
And then make Trump prez~another draft dodger.

I thought it was interesting to note that over 8,000 american soldiers were imprisoned in one canadian pow camp.

But yeah john wayne, coward. Cool!

200 dead is a small number compared to the Civil War soldiers that died in prisoner of war camps. Sounds like Canadians treated Americans better than we treated ourselves.
