I had only planned to use this AV for a day or two. I loved the Addams Family movies with Christina Ricci. I saw this one and remembered how bad ass she made Pocahontas in the camp play. But I'm more of an axe killer than an arsonist, so it was only going to be up for a short time. Then someone threw out "Pookahontas" and I couldn't resist the temp name change. Again, just for a short time.

Then AJ became unhinged over it, more because he could make a ridiculous political statement with it about liberals. So in Pookie fashion, I shoved it in his face.

I'll change the AV this weekend to the one I really wanted of Wednesday Addams with a battle axe, along with my nick back to Pookie. But for today, it's fun seeing AJ show himself for what he truly is - a situationally outraged hypocrite.

Oh, and it's interesting how AJ chose a black man instead of a white one for his racist rants. Seemed to come quite naturally to him.

THE TALE OF THE LITTLE SPORK

Once upon a time, there lived a little Spork.

In a land ruled by Forks, created for the benefit of Forks.

Throughout his life, this little Spork had Issues of Conflict, both great and small (but mostly great.)

And so, he vented these Issues verbally in the most Safest and Accessible Medium he could Enjoy and Joyously Thrive within on a nigh-daily basis.

Now, the many Issues of this little Spork would be too boring to recount one-by-one, but one of the Main Issues of this little Spork was that he could never reconcile in his heart the dual reality of being a Fusion of Spoon and Fork in a land ruled by Forks.

For the Spoons, you see, they were but few and the Forks, they were but many. The Forks, you see, over generations and generations of Forks they set up Laws and Governance and Rules to charter their Forkly Interests above all others.

So the little Spork, knowing well of the Power Imbalance of Fork above all others, Aligned as best as he could with the Forks and with him being Part Fork and Passing Fork, the Forks never gainsaid this Alignment so long as he knew the place of Spoon amongst the Forks, which was never to be on the same level as Fork.

The quick of it all, however, was that the little Spork could not simply forget about the part of him that was Spoon, but in order to Live Fully amongst Forks in Fork Society, he could never Challenge the Forks that put the Spoons to detriment, lest he lose his Allowed Privileged Alignment with the Forks.

So this little Spork gainsaid the Knives instead, to the Profound Pleasure of the Forks he curried Favor with. He gainsaid them with Great Ebullience, with Dubious Chicanery and Clever Mockery, with Steadfast Animus, in nigh-daily verbose delight.

For the Knives, you see, having built the land that the Forks ruled but never gaining the level of the Forks due to their Forkly Interests, they Continuously Challenged the Forks and Battled the Forks and Strived Against the Forks for that level, in all the many ways that the little Spork could never do for the Honor of his Spoon heritage. And this little Spork resented this Strength of Character and Love of Self in the Knives because it was what he Personally Lacked.

And he knew, he knew well, that to speak against the Knives in the way he did outside of the Safe and Accessible Area of Medium in which he Enjoyed and Joyously Thrived, was to invite the Wrath of the Knives and the Wrath of the Knives, for they had Pride, was Torrible indeed.

Neither the Spoon nor the Fork Halves of the little Spork could handle that Verity. He did not have the Courage to Travel in his sieve Beyond his Walls to the Chancly Bore to see Silver Bees and drink bottles of Rum-Bo-Ree. So within the Safe and Accessible Area of Medium the little Spork remained.

And remained. And remained. To bitterly snack on lunches of stale cornichons, pretending they were dinners of steaks made for Forks.

Such be the quick of it all! So be the tale of this pitiful, pathetic little Spork until the end his days!

I agree. He shouldn't have done that.

But what pisses me off is the fact that none of the progressives intervened re those racist jokes about native americans. In fact, most progressives giggled, encouraged them, and a few of them even added their own "jokes" to the mix.

So how come? Are certain minorities more valuable than others? Are native americans, jews, legal immigrants less valuable than other minorities? (including LGBT's and transgenders)?
Nope. They're all equal.

And it's not the first time that I'm seeing such double standards. The manner in which these assholes enable RobDownSouth is the perfect example.
