Are there any instant HIV tests out on the market for us spontaneous fuckers? Also what are the sturdiest condoms out there.... ? I know condoms are the norm, but for thosoe who love oral, HIV can jump quickly . Chunk

I don't know if our local stores carry HIV tests? I do know the Logan County Health Dept has times when you can come in and get tested.

I had to go for those tests once, hospital not sterilizing properly, and they said it would take up to a year for everything that could to show up.

It's true.
If you may have been exposed, you might as well wait ten months to be tested.
It can take that long for a positive.
A neg now doesn't necessarily mean neg.
How bout giving blood? Don't they test when you donate?

If they don't explicitly say they are testing for it then they are probably not. Things may have changed since the last time I dealt with anything that would put me at risk but it used to be a law they weren't allowed to test without telling you and getting permission. It's possible that has changed.

Not sure how that is done. Yes, you would think a blood bank would test everything but who knows.
I've met a thousand people in my life who claimed to be nurses. Maybe a dozen actually were. Somebody takes one CNA class or something and they go around telling everybody they're a nurse.
I'll go check the red cross and see what they got to say on the matter.

They always ask but there's nothing to prevent a person from lying. Ever been in one of those plasma places? 90% of the people look like they got HIV.

All donated blood is tested for a myriad of diseases. I'm not sure if they contact an individual to let them know of a positive result.

HIPPA has created tons of red tape.

the local health department has a good program in place for testing around here. prices are better than planned parenthood. there is also a local aids resource center that offers free testing to anyone who needs it. they are a non profit, and would be my go to, if i were in need of a test. their downside is that they only do aids testing. if you need to be tested for aids, you should also run tests for hep B and C, and a myriad of other standard tests. unprotected puts you at risk for all of the above.
