If my daughter were Monica, I hope I'd be kicking myself for not teaching her better values. That doesn't excuse Bill Clinton, the letch, one iota. But Monica was no innocent child and her parents bear some of the blame for that. Even at the time, the depiction of Monica's mother, acting like a classic stage mother, was that she encouraged her daughter to do whatever she had to do to get under Clinton's desk.

Bernie Sanders has more than once said that he'd do whatever he could to keep Trump from winning. Starting a third party or telling his supporters just to go home when he didn't get the Democratic nomination (even though he's not a Democrat) would not be serving this stated purpose. But I'm watching that closely, because I still have the notion that this is an old man's vanity campaign for him and has nothing to do with regard for a Democratic Party win up and down the ticket--or even for the progression of the issues he's brought up, which indeed need addressing. We'll see.
