Transgendereism

Similarly, let us discuss how this whole issue came to the forefront. A liberal enclave in North Carolina attacked the right to private property by telling all business that they must comply to this new rule which was only discussed in liberal circles and decided by liberal lawmakers. When the rest of the state then moved to protect private property rights, the the Left went batshit crazy.

At least Target did it voluntarily; it was willing to lose some customers in order to satisfy the liberal outrage of the day. The liberals did not protest, they did not boycott, they did not try to persuade, they simply acted by fiat using the force and in-eloquence of government.

Now, that the issue has erupted into a nation-wide issue, we are still not allowed to have a conversation because the Liberals have decided that it is a settled matter, they are right, we are wrong and that we should shut the fuck up, which is why we see so much petty and ugly hate directed at it just for offering our opinions and concerns up for the sake of a discussion and reaching a common compromise solution. The problem is, the Left no longer compromises, it is looking for an excuse to violence...

True. Also:
Come to think about it - you're right, and my own uproar regarding Target was misplaced.
They're a private institution - their money, their right. And no one is forced to shop at Target either.

But when the government starts to impose it : it becomes an entirely different matter and it's not ok.

And the latest move by the President to force schools to follow his desired policy or lose funding only hurts those schools and students with the most dire need.

He is willing to punish the children of the poor in order to promote and normalize what may actually be mental illness. He's no Scientist or Doctor, he's a community agitator.

Gosh, looks like the US and the EU are starting to become upside down. Madness !

Whereas intolerance still comes in the traditional forms in Australasia. The old-fashioned bigotry, even if dressed in PCnness.

This is what happens when you reject the tools that made your culture a beacon of enlightenment in an otherwise dark world. You run the peril by rejecting your culture of putting out that lamp and returning to the darkness.

Reminds me of nighttime photos from space of the two Koreas.

The one with an enforced conformity is the dark one.

There's a trend going on now - a lot of cool and in fact instructive dystopian books and movies. Best-sellers espec. among 16 year-old girls.

How cool would that be, if my english would be better and I would be able to write a dystopian book reflecting these trends… I'm sure that I'd make millions.
Because millenials serm to be more interested in making sense of the world surrounding them, than our generations were.

People come from the factory with plenty of traits that are problematic: Violence, criminal conduct, annoying habits, the list is long. BECAUSE YOU CAN DOESNT MEAN YOU SHOULD.

I'm pretty sure the majority of Americans are in favor of separate bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers for males and females in our schools. Especially elementary, middle and high schools. The idea it can be left to each individual to decide which of these facilities he or she uses based on his or her feelings about himself or herself seems absurd, at first blush. Creating separate facilities for individuals with gender identity problems hardly seems the answer. Separate but equal?

Keep in mind, that when schools actually made a safe spot for THE transgender in their midst, the government went bat-guano crazy...

Just like some of the Libs here.

Every generation strives to make sense of its zeitgeist (the flavor of its time). But the popular career paths of my time (60s and 70s) were obsolete and replaced by the time I was 30 years old. Whats avant-garde today is passé tomorrow.

I had to look it up. Very interesting…

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeitgeist

"Errors of illusion are not readily apparent because the shared beliefs and assumptions of a particular era that support them come from the zeitgeist.
Failure to question research findings that agree with prevailing political and philosophical ideology represents one of the effects of the zeitgeist.

Hegel believed that art reflected, by its very nature, the culture of the time in which it is created. He believed that in the modern world it was impossible to produce classical art, which he believed represented a "free and ethical culture", which depended more on the philosophy of art and theory of art, rather than a reflection of the social construct, or Zeitgeist in which a given artist lives.

The zeitgeist does not always have negative effects. It can stimulate new ideas and creative solutions to problems."

Heteronormativity – (noun) the assumption, in individuals or in institutions, that everyone is heterosexual, and that heterosexuality is superior to all other sexualities. Leads to invisibility and stigmatizing of other sexualities. Often included in this concept is a level of gender normativity and gender roles, the assumption that individuals should identify as men and women, and be masculine men and feminine women, and finally that men and women are a complimentary pair. - See more at: http://itspronouncedmetrosexual.com...-lgbtq-term-definitions/#sthash.p2hoNY07.dpuf

Sociology and psychiatry a la "butters' Nursing School of Higher Wisdom" lol

You know, "those people," the ones who do not think exactly like chipbutty and the rest of the alligator tears crowd.

You know, you, me, Ishmael, we're just black and white thinkers...

;) ;)

It's perfectly obvious there are people who are not heterosexual. I don't know anyone who disputes that. I've never met anyone who disputes it.

Clearly the Left sees them in shadows, corners and behind closed doors...

:nods:

Everyone "knows" it.

People embrace their comfort spaces. If I place you in a war space youll become a killer. The best societies discourage gay spaces, and criminal spaces, and crack houses, and prisons. Some haven't learned gay is a bad space to be in.
