Because up to now I was only using the " Norton security and antivirus. // CM security" android apps., and I thought that they took care of everything.

But I only use the Samsung galaxy note 12.2 and I don't use the bigger computer, so I don't know if it works the same on it (plus I don't understand what a malware is versus virus)

I couldn't find "KeRanger" on the Google Play store.

Nevertheless, I downloaded
"Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Safe browsing Anti-Malware".

Hope that those are the right ones that you guys are referring to.
