Bathrooms. Is it time to give up?

Airplanes and locations into which guys must pee.

You have not seen my bathroom war injury. Late at night. Have to pee. BAD. Run to bathroom in the dark fling myself down and THERE IS NO SEAT!!!!! It is almost as serious as the number of people going blind from masturbation.:rolleyes:lol

Seat and lid should be down before flush. :).

I cannot believe how much controversy this lavatory thing has caused. I want to pee, maybe change a sanitary item in there, in the privacy of a cubicle. I don't mind if the person next door is called John or Jane or anything else.....just make the queue short and the facility clean...please!

It's not that big of an issue to the majority of Americans either.

North Carolina files lawsuit over bathroom law 01:54
Washington (CNN)Americans broadly oppose laws that would require transgender people to use facilities that correspond with their gender at birth rather than their gender identity, according to a new CNN/ORC Poll, and three-quarters favor laws guaranteeing equal protection for transgender individuals.

Overall, 57% say they oppose laws requiring transgender individuals to use facilities that do not match their gender identity, 38% support such laws. Strong opposition (39%) outweighs strong support for these laws (25%). There's a partisan gap on the question, with Democrats and independents more apt to oppose them than Republicans.

But Republicans aren't broadly in favor of them either. The poll finds Republicans about evenly split on laws like this, with 48% in favor and 48% opposed. Republicans are divided by ideology, with moderate and liberal Republicans tilting against the laws and conservative Republicans breaking in favor. That mirrors a pattern found in surveys on support for legal gay marriage, with moderate or liberal Republicans generally more in favor of gay couples' right to marry than conservative Republicans.

Why would you not check?! That's the equivalent of me going in the bathroom and just taking a wee all over the toilet seat because I didn't check to make sure it was up.

Men's toilet rooms are gross, what's with the pee all over the floor and seat? I wonder if this is the gateway to shared locker rooms.

I def don't want to walk in on some dude airing out his sweaty balls after a good game of handball.

You're a racist bigot.

This is Next. Just have to wait for the first H.S. teenager that says he self identifies as a female.

Yea you don't want to go into the women's room in a corp environment when they are short on cleaning staff.

I get so grossed out I end up going around the building trying to find a place to go.

I had a job where I was in the Fuddrucker restaurants alone after hours in Mpls.
If I needed to use a bathroom, I'd go to the women's, figuring they'd be the cleanest.
Wow was I wrong.
In all of them, the women's was much nastier than the mens.

Denny

It's a fact that MEN'S bathrooms are cleaner than the WOMEN'S . We don't throw used Tampex, Tampons, and other bloody things on the floor. We don't throw blotted lipstick covered TP in the sink or on the floor. We don't get hair all over the sink. We don't get make-up everywhere.

We leave the seat up so we don't get pee on it. If you are a lady and wish to sit, put the god-damned seat down and shut up and don't bitch because it's down and covered with piss.

If I must share a bathroom I will leave the seat up and the toilet paper roll end up and out so it is easier to get to when I wipe my ass.

If I am standing at a urnal and a lady comes in the room I will not step forward banging my penis on the urnal. If you are female and haven't seen a cock then you need to find a bush or tree out in the woods.
If you are gay or in any other way weird stay the fuck away from me or I might piss on your shoes.

I have noticed that most of the posters have no problem with who is peeing next to them if there is a stall. Most posters don't seem to care at all. Maybe it's time for the sign on the door to be gender neutral and says bathroom. I'm still not taking a bath in there.

Used to be a show where the bathrooms in the workplace were co-ed. Can't remember what show though. Lawyers I think but that just narrows it down to everything but cop shows.
Of course I don't remember anyone on the show ever actually using the bathroom, it was just for gossip and furthering the plot i think.

Now the question is what sex are lawyers?

Putting the seat up

When I go to the piss/defecation room I always check to see if the seat is up or down. I don't want to fall into it. I feel it's my job not to sit into a pile of someone else's bodily functions. Maybe they should do the right thing but I'm not risking myself hoping they do.

If you still have a dick, please use the mens' room.
∧∧∧∧This.
I agree with it being enforced on a case by case basis in small institutions, where everybody knows everybody.

But this PC thing in Public places is madness! So how are they going to know that a person who claims to be a pre-op transsexual is really who he claims to be? Ask them for a letter from their Doc? How would they know that the person isn't simply a perv., or a man who wants yo use a cleaner toilet, instead of the men's bathroom?

And re unisex toilets: I'd get very inhibitted if I had to go for no.2, knowing there's a dude in the cubicle next to me.
