Where will you move if Trump wins?

I just want to see all the.blowhard Democrats leave the country like they all said they would. It would be really rough without American handouts for the average lib. Whoopi needs to go with Rosie. Samuel L. Jackson can take Quentin with him. Sharpton can take Jesse with him. Don't let the door hit you.in the ass.

I do have a house in the Mediterranean, but I'll stay put where I am.

If he manages to get through a year without something happening.. New Zealand? Where will radiation not go once he pushes the button? Who would accept American refugees after 12 months of Trump?

You think he would last a year? I'd say he might go six months before he threw up his tiny hands and quit.

Few will leave. We're in a civil war in which the Clintons and Bush's are expelled from power and influence. It's over for them and their flying monkeys.

Yesterday a few of the current events hosts pushed these people to articulate their plans, and none did. TRUMP IS AN ASSHOLE is not a plan. Trump means the party is over for many, and plenty more are at peril.

Trump will phone Paul Ryan and Dubya, and offer them choices of 1. JOIN THE TEAM, 2. Deal with the FBI, 3. Deal with the IRS.

Democrats need to stay in the United States so that we can vote Democrat in the elections of 2018 and 2020 after Trump runs the United States off the rail.

A better question might be: where will Trump move after his policies ruin the U.S. economy? I predict that he will buy an island in the South Pacific that is not claimed by any country, and move there. He will still live in luxury as the unemployed millions, and those who have lost their savings and their homes due to inflation and unemployment die in the street.

Will it make any difference?
From the viewpoint of an outside observer, it would seem that the only thing a president can do on his own is to take you to war. From what we see, Trump does not have the support of the party so he will be fighting congress while it is republican. and fighting even more if it swings the other way. We've seen how powerless Obama has been, why would Trump be any different?

As an aside Trump is used here as a euphemism for fart. Nothing to do with the man, it has been used long before anyone had heard of him. When there is a bad smell we ask "Who trumped?"

We hold Permanent Residency cards in Singapore. Next year we can apply for citizenship. We won't, but we might consider it for a few minutes if Trump wins. More likely, we might choose to continue to live abroad until he's out of office. Moving back would depend on how much he destroys the US (and world) economy.

Seems like it is sinking into the Dem brains that Hillary's campaign has the energy of Mom jeans, and all the media's men can't put Humpty back together again. She is done. No charisma, a liar and there is simply a bad aroma wafting from her camp. Trump 2016. The media says 10 point Hillary lead, I say no way.

Vancouver, BC. Hell, might move there anyway. Just outside Seoul is a possibility if I can get a few years of experience under my belt as a lawyer and then book a professor gig at Handong Law School.

Trump has only a little to do with it. Seeing America as a laughingstock to the rest of the world because of guns, no health care, and 2+ million people in prison has more.

Do you know what an average house price is here in Vancouver?

$1,000,000 USD

New Zeeland will be locked up tight. By then if you want into New Zeeland you better be an engineer with a brilliantly artistic SO. With enough gold to support yourself.

Who would let Yanks in? They started the nuke war. Ship 'em back 'ome where they belong. Radiated wasteland that it is.

One can only hope many many libbies will flee. The country will be better off in the long run.

He won't win. Hillary will SLAUGHTER him! It will be a rout, you mark my words.

That doesn't mean stay home though. We still have to vote. And I know it sucks to have to vote for your least disliked candidate. I get that. But Trump would be a disaster and we can't let it happen.

I've been thinking about moving to Canada regardless though. They're a lot less hostile to disabled people and it's easier to get benefits if you can't hold down a job, which I can't. Vancouver sounds nice. But it's not easy and I might not be able to make it happen. In the next eight years, maybe. But that's where I'd move if I moved outside the States.

But, again, I won't have to. Trump has no chance. You'll see. Mark my words, he will flame out in spectacular fashion.

Lots of places besides Vancouver, Montreal and I suppose Toronto. Move to London, Ontario and swear you never left home. There is a reason lots of polls and consumer studies are done here. We are middle of the road conservative representatives for all of NA. Right down the middle. Kinda boring at times.

Got some great universities and colleges plus outstanding hospitals. Country living almost within town limits. Lots of boring suburbia and malls with associated entertainments.

Fuck of a lot cheaper than T.O., Vancouver or Montreal. House under $200K, $2500 municipal taxes.

Got the London Knight's perennial favourites in the OHL. The Grand Theater. A nice river runs through town with oodles of parklands.

Very efficient and professional police force.

Unemployment figures could be better. Large defence contractor and diesels system big employer besides schools and hospitals. Lots of car part plants. Assembly plants dot the region.

Between London and Kitchener/Waterloo are some fine smaller towns with close access to work and shopping.

Immigration to Canada

Have you seriously looked into immigrating to Canada?

Or do you assume that you can just drive across the border with your household goods and move there?

Is your career importable?

Say you are a US lawyer.

Can you practice law in Canada?

Are you educated in the British legal system that Canada's is based on?

Just asking.

And if you are considering Vancouver, if you can't compete with corrupt offshore Chinese investors in the housing market, don't even bother thinking of coming.

Retired with money will be fine.
