Bye, Ted.
You were a god-fucking-awful person.
That was the "oops" moment which ended his chances. He could have dropped out immediately after he found out Hoosiers don't talk about the height of basketball rings. Saved some time.![]()

Not at all.Have you grown tired of me telling you how funny you are yet?
The GOP will split in half over him. A bunch may even switch out of genuine fear.I'm sure he'll run again some day, he's only in his mid-40s. He'll need to definitely up his game though. He doesn't seem to have the political instincts that he thinks he has. It was a pretty pathetic campaign really especially at the end.
On the flip side, he did run into the Trump tornado. That's why I love this overconfidence on the part of the liberal loudmouths, the army of armchair Rories on the internet.
Trump is a formidable opponent as all his vanquished opponents have already found out, and polls are already tightening between him and Hillary and he hasn't even started going after her yet. I won't underestimate either of them.

But it would be sweet if someone could perform a song about "Two Fingers Ted and the Basketball Ring of Doom."

Give credit where credit is due, Cruz had the best organization overall....that's how he got as far as he did. Compare Cruz field troops to Jeb!'s, Rubio's, Jindal's....or any other candidate in the "Deepest Republican Bench EVAR", he comes out ahead.
He ran the Bush 2000 playbook to perfection, the "outsider insider".
The problem was, Trump blew away all the existing rules. He has a shit organization, and now must rely upon the RNC to help him get the white vote out and prevent the non-whites from voting.
