much as i love watching masterchef, there was a disgusting thing tonight

raw red prawn tail (ok) but the heads had to be charred to heat the brains till liquid which were then poured over the raw tail

seriously?

And I spelled cannoli wrong. I'm a horrible Italian, in my defense I'm not Sicilian.

It's one sweet I will eat because I can make it to my level of sweetness which is not very.



Then you'd like the filling in cannoli. Making the shells can be time consuming and I usually tell people to buy them from their local higher end grocery, like Whole Foods or whatever store around carries them in their bakery and might sell the empty shells. However making them is just fun, I use Marsala wine in mine.

The filling is just ricotta or marscapone or like my own concoction, a mixture of the two. And you can add to that if you want, powdered sugar, vanilla, coffee liqueur, mini chocolate chips, pistachios. On and on. :)

Wings, those are beautiful! The Kaluha, coffee, or cocoa ones sound delish. Is the dough soft or like a pastry? Nom nom nom.
