Disabling visible "last activity"

It's a little annoying that if I check my messages or see if a thread has new posts or something it always shows on my profile. I've seen others that do this and others that don't and I can't seem to figure out how to disable it. I just don't want it to show on my profile anymore. Can someone help me out with this? I'm still pretty new so it seems I've not figured everything out yet.

Turn on "Invisible Mode".

Of course, now people cannot see that you are online either.

I actually have that on. But I still see the last activity thing whenever I look at my profile. I can't see it when I'm logged out so I can only see it as myself. Is it only visible to me or something?

I get messages about my profile pretty often so I know a lot of people have already seen it. Apparently it makes people laugh, which I think is a pretty cool compliment to get. I just changed it a little bit a few days ago but it's pretty much stayed the same.
