A lot has changed around lit. Many have left. New have come. Attitudes are different. Women used to really like each other, not turn into lesbian lovers just to bump each other's threads, guys used to actually like talking vs just telling a woman what she wanted to hear so she'll post more pictures.
But.. your coffee shop has always reminded me of old lit .People who enjoy talking, we all come in and say hi to each other, and it's fun. No weirdness.
I would be sad if you didn't open another one. I don't think any slowness you see is due to the thread. I think many others who have always posted in here are less active also.

I love this thread because it's a friendly place to come visit and say hi. I like the company and this is probably the only thread that I regularly talk with other women in. People here feel real, there isn't a sense of showing off or trying to grab the attention of some guy. I don't even need to be sarcastic here! (I try to do it anyway
I will be very sad if this closes. I don't spend as much time on lit as I used to, so I am not here as often either but this has always been a safe and comfortable thread to post in.

Here is my happy Sunday coffee. Trying the Gevalia, it's pretty smooth, doesn't have the sharp bitterness of a Starbucks coffee. If you don't like sweet, don't get this one. It has a lot of sugar. (I added a wee bit more). I just started my makeup and have concealer under my eyes, which makes me look wide awake. Just rolled out of bed, hahaha.
