I like some of the tablet apps that are part of it. Small things. The weather app.

For the most part it is just another windows with the clicks in different places. It has not been adopted at my work where windows runs modeling and machine software. It is always a pain in the ass getting a new OS with that stuff.

AND I am far from an expert. I am sure the gurus will have better info for you.

Stop thinking of it as being new. Its not really.

They just changed the pictures and moved things around.

Your best bud will be the start button and the little window that comes up when you click on it. Save all your fav apps there for now and you will get used to it.

Dont worry about the metro apps for now (the ms store programs you can get) you can start learning that later.

It does, however, come with an inbuilt feature which records all your metadata and sends it back to Microsoft for who knows what purposes. You can't turn it off but you can limit what it sends back and how often.

The original candy crush and the candy crush soda apps sync fine but that buttwipe of a game the candy crush jelly will not sync for nothing.

I found it to be buggy and confusing. Downloaded because I needed to quickly get up and working with the new OS. Uninstalled because it fucked with video playback and a few other small issues.
