She is very fair skinned and wears very little eye make-up, which I think is only accentuated by her light eyebrows and eyelashes. This, coupled with her facial features and short hair can make her appear somewhat androgynous.

At times she has looked like a haute couture model that could strut the catwalk in an Alexander McQueen, and others like the disheveled singer from Radiohead.

In some of the photographs I have seen of her, she reminded me, oddly, of David Bowie.

I agree she is really beautiful. I love that she does not conform to any real ideal of what is considered 'feminine beauty' and yet still is beautiful. Individual ( Bowie twin aside) beauty is a good aspiration I think.



Ah. Well. Personally....I shall maybe take Brooke's recommendation to view her in 'Kevin'. I have seen her in roles where often....I find her less inspiring as an actress.

I love watching her, and the Kevin film is hard work watching, emotionally. I often get her mixed up in my head with cate blanchett, like in her role as maid marion and in he LOTR films.

They are the same height, but Tilda has more rounded parts than David. The other significant differences are their ages, and that she's still alive.
