Federal judge calls IRS untrustworthy in tea party case

A federal appeals court judge dubbed the IRS not trustworthy during oral argument Thursday as he and his colleagues tried to figure out whether tea party targeting is still going on.

Dozens of groups say the IRS not only treated them badly in the past, but the agency continues to subject them to special monitoring and intrusive scrutiny, damaging their reputation among potential donors and making it more likely the groups will face an audit because of their political beliefs.

The IRS insisted it has retrained its employees and instructed managers to behave better, but the panel of judges on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia did not seem convinced.

“It’s hard to find the IRS to be an agency we can trust,” said Judge David B. Sentelle.

The lawyer for the IRS at one point acknowledged there were still “potential problems” with the way the agency monitors cases going forward, but insisted the initial targeting at the point groups apply for nonprofit status has ended.

The IRS’s internal auditor reported in 2013 that the agency singled out tea party and conservative groups for special scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status. Investigators said the groups were asked intrusive questions and subjected to waits that stretched into years, potentially denying them their rights.

“It’s hard to find the IRS to be an agency we can trust,” said Judge David B. Sentelle.

Some realized that fact of life literally long ago, and logically choose to stop doing all business with such outright corruption and constitutional betrayal, for capitalism states that if one party cannot trust another, no honestly profitable business can be conducted at all.

To honestly stop doing their business under such forceful jurisdiction of such usurping power, one must actively enter into political exile and adopt a practical life full of withdraw and sacrifice any less politically-principled person cannot possibly begin to incorporate, let alone long endure.

These American Patriots naturally understand that their God-given rights cannot possibly be taken offensively from them unless they surrender or die. Thus, to an American Patriot, any thought of forcefully imposing their individual liberty-loving political way of thinking collectively is as naturally abhorrent as that constitutionally betraying corruption they've already exiled themselves from. What's left is nothing but glorious, righteous defense of what's fully inherent to every human being, no matter what any collective deems, no matter what any government dictates.

Then there are the wannabes, the posers who whine so much about reality being so constitutionally betraying, so politically corrupt, and that things must change toward the way they wannabe think...

...while, out of the other side of their mouths they continue to faithfully fund the very illegality they constantly pose to protest so much about, because all their preferred comforts and securities they've become totally spoiled to cannot be had at all in this nation under siege unless they obediently pay the tribute that is commanded for them to keep on enjoying their material luxuries.

It's called Ultimate Got'cha, a game all lemmings self-ID themselves as by merely playing along...

And I must say, busybody, you are definitely one of the very best players at it on this Board.

ADDON: I had included in this, another one of my originally magnificent political compositions, a 10-word, wholly original phrase that I developed a while back to succinctly surmise the entire gist of my political philosophy. But, arrogantly wondering if those words could possibly identify me from somewhere(s) else on the net, I entered just those 10 words into Google...

Of course, some of those 10 individual words result in other people/offerings being organically listed, but none of them address my succinctly original context, so I quite naturally sit atop the listings showing "About 922,000 results (0.71 seconds)".

Sitting directly under me in 2nd place is some dude named Socrates; some bozo named Ronald Reagan is 3rd, then comes various listings mentioning Him, His, Machiavelli, Nietzsche, etc.

At least my agent/PR guy loves me. :(
