One of the signs on that list is Sandy Balls.

Sandy Balls Camp site/holiday park is a large facility near the New Forest. I intended to use it as a destination in my story 'Christmas on Duty' but at the last minute realised it would be shut at Christmas. I didn't make all the editing changes I should have in the originally posted version, leaving directions to Sandy Balls when they were going to Tunbridge Wells.

Sandy Balls is a popular site for families with children and well aware of the publicity advantages of its name, although I think the location was called Sandy Balls before the holiday park was built.

It has good reviews on TripAdvisor.

I was reading an article the other day which mentioned places that had changed their names due to modern-day saucy meanings.

Saddens me somewhat. Plus, as Ogg mentions, something like that can be a real draw.

This is a pub I pass quite frequently while out on rides. Originally called the 'Cock Inn', it was renamed Headley Hill after a previous rebranding...

The inn, which is to reopen in mid-March, will be renamed the Cock Inn after the owners consulted with locals, who informed them that this was the original name of the establishment.

The traditional pub is steeped in history, with the original part of the building being constructed between 1700 and 1750, and it was originally a home for the stonemasons who built the church in Headley.

I came across this collection recently.

We've always loved RV travel and one of my first hobbys was taking tittie photos of my wife next to signs, statues, and scenic places.
If we were there I'd had to gotten pictures next to each of those signs.
One I like on our way north in the USA to visit is the city limits sign of CLIMAX, Ala.
I just can't find any right now with my wife's boobies out.

Our town used to have The Queen's Head; The King's Head; and The Queen's Hotel. Before homosexuality became legal, The Queen's Hotel was a notorious pick up point for gay men. All three are now closed, as are The Upper Red Lion and The Lower Red Lion which were fifty yards apart but belonging to different brewery chains.

I live in Southampton which is not far from Sandy Balls. One street in our city is 'Winkle Street' named after the shellfish not the body part, unfortunately.
