Deportations to Begin
Sunday, April 9, 2016
The local TV news channels all brandished their copies of today's Boston Globe newspaper.
Yes, the editorial staff of the Boston Globe did it.
"Boston Globe Prints Fake Front Page Satirizing Trump"

"The editorial board of The Boston Globe is using a satirical front page to express its uneasiness with a potential Donald Trump presidency."
The newspaper published a satirical front page for its "Ideas" section. The page, dated April 9, 2017, features a large photo of Trump as president below a headline that reads "Deportations to Begin."
The (Boston) Globe also blames the Republican party's "actions and inactions" for creating an environment where a candidate like Trump can flourish.
"After all, a candidate spewing anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, authoritarian rhetoric didn’t come out of nowhere," it said.
gsgs comment-
The Boston Globe invested their integrity when they tackled the Vatican.
Today, there is a film that illustrates their efforts- "Spotlight."

The Boston Globe, once, again, is working towards the public good.
There have been many editorials exposing major news networks and outlets
to the criticism that they all gave a free pass.
Once, again, the citizens of the USA were disregarded.
Trump is worth entertainment dollars, and money is the first concern
of any corporation.
Corporations feel no obligation to protect the public good.
"President Trump calls for tripling of ICE force, riots continue"
"Curfews extended in multiple cities"
"US soldiers refuse orders to kill ISIS families"
"Markets sink as trade war looms"
"Dow declines at record pace"
Bank glitch halts border wall work
New Libel law targets "absolute scrum" in press
(Legislation could supplant state laws)
gsgs comment- Trump fanatics continue to scream the word "losers" at journalists
/end gsgs comment
"This is Donald Trump's America."
...might happen if GOP forerunner can put his ideas into practice."
"...Globe's editorial staff finds it deeply disturbing."
"...un- American."

"It (the serious editorial page that is critical of Trump) encourages Republicans to put up "every legitimate roadblock" to Trump securing the nomination and asks them not to "settle" for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a candidate they say may be "more dangerous" than the front-runner.
gsgs comment- I have a bone to pick with whoever collaborated on the non- satire editorial. Mitt Romney has proved himself not to be honorable, and not to be decent.
Mitt Romney is all about Mitt.
Just as Trump is all about Trump.
Paul Ryan ? All of a sudden, a tiger exchanges his stripes for giraffe spots ?
"Some people may be a little leery of Ryan's sudden change, and we should be because he is the same person who once promoted policies to eliminate safety nets for people on the cusp of slipping deeper into poverty."
It was two years ago exactly when Ryan summed up the "War on Poverty" by saying some "inner city" men suffer from "a culture" that does not value hard work.
I took Ryan to task for these remarks in a column, and, to my surprise, a lot of readers criticized me by calling me a "race hustler."
When I hear the words "culture" and "inner city" coming from white people, I automatically know that they are talking to the Trump and tea party supporters, the same people who claim that they want to "Make America Great Again" or they "Want to Take Our Country Back."
