People always say, "stop looking and you will find ___" (whatever it is you are looking for)
Here's my situation, which I know is fairly common... I am married, but it's basically like roommates raising kids. My husband and I are sexually and emotionally disconnected. We work totally different schedules so we hardly see each other. When we are both home at the same time, it's almost like we are strangers. In many ways we are - we are as different as two people can be.
I am active on another site where I have shown my pictures and personality and made great friends. People say I am beautiful, smart, funny, kind, intelligent and that my husband must be gay. (LOL)
A couple years ago, I was in an online/long distance relationship that was amazing! It was something that made life better for me and the man I was involved with but did not disrupt our personal lives. Please note it was NOT just erotic chat and naughty pix/vids (though it did include that eventually)! It was a true connection between two people who were REAL with one another. It lasted for 6 incredible months that I now look back at very fondly.
I'm not sure I'll ever have such a connection again but knowing it happened once, I have to believe it can happen again and can be even better. I know there are men in the same situation I am that are looking for more than just erotic chat with whomever happens to be online at the time.
The problem with most married men is they are not available on weekends or evenings when I have the most time to spare. That is probably the biggest hurdle but is something that's important to me. I want something that will fill a void - and part of that is a loneliness on weekends.
I use the word "men" but I'm not looking for "men" (of course I'm not looking at all... according to my title....) but would like to find ONE man who would put forth time and effort to get to know me and see if there is a connection.
Lastly, I don't think PM's on this site are an effective way to communicate, but it's a place to start. My ideal man, after a connection is established, is someone who would be able to eventually talk on the phone once we move past the "pen pal" stage.
I'm not sure ANYONE will be interested in this, but I will post it before I change my mind. Please message me privately if any of this makes sense and sounds remotely similar to your situation.
