To interact with people from all over the world who in real life I would not be likely to meet or come across in the reasonably small country I live in.

Plus there are some very interesting people here and I have made some great friends.

I've seen posters here who have given to others emotional support to someone in need and some have even reached in to their pockets and given financially for genuine reasons and it wasn't public knowledge nor asked for.

Posters have interacted here and met up at lit get togethers and made friends, lovers etc.

I've also seen ass hats spill other peoples personal info that was given to them in the strictest confidence and that f'ing sucks but for the most part I enjoy like minded people from different countries and walks of life interact positively and some negatively.

There have also been couples who have met on the gb and taking things to the real world and even have babies. I think that is wonderful and heart warming

I'm a people watching and find it fascinating so that helps to keep me stay.

Plus I have a crush on Laurel but don't tell her.

Because a few of you Blurt posters (and in particular your troll patrol made of four or so political posters) have decided to "sanitize" the board by trying to chase away all the "R-wingers" or "stupid n00bs".

Just an example:

1.Your mentality:
- Progressives = the epithome of kindness, morality, intelligence. Young and sexy.
-"R-wingers" = racist hateful monsters who are garbage-collectors who live in a trailor and make up all sorts of lies about their background. "Old" and uglee.

2.Therefore:
- No matter what dumb idea someone comes up with, you'll pat them on their back as long as they're on your team - the progressive team.
- But if a person is a "R-winger", and even if they come up with a brilliant idea that has nothing to do with politics, your troll patrol will troll them and insult them to death.
So you assholes end up sidetracking and destroying any interesting thread with potential.

3.But guess what? Real life doesn't work like that.
People aren't either all-good ("progressives") or all-bad ("R-wingers"). Everyone has good parts and bad parts and more importantly, even "racists" can be intelligent and well-read. And same goes for libs.

But you assholes, with your narrow-minded worldview, are gradually dumbing down the entire board.
