The Bunny has visited, we are relaxing and the plan was to take a hike but we'll see how the weather is.
It got pretty gray here over the last hour, to the north.
Ah, well, maybe the sun will be back later.

We have a houseful coming over and I wouldn't mind if some of them wanted to take said hike.

We had a great day here yesterday. The weather was wonderful. Started out overcast then later the sun started shining down between clouds. A brisk and cold North wind kept things nice and cool, perfect dog walking weather and the pup and I went on several long walks. He loved it and so did I, in spite of my hip starting to ache by the end of the day.
At home my wife and I went out to a nice steak place late in the afternoon. The rest of the day we relaxed listening to music on her pandora and reading. Well I read, I think the boss was playing candy crush.
We left the sliding door to the screened in deck open all night, so pup spent the night out there looking for intruding critters, and we snuggled under ample covers.
The perfect weekend day.
Today (Sunday) it's more of the same, a little colder and rain showers and less sun. The boss made the best pancakes in the world. I splurged and used real butter on the top one. As per usual I drowned them in real maple syrup, with lots left over after the flapjacks were done. Yup, up plate and poured the excess maple juice into my mouth. MMMMMMMM.
It's nice to spend a weekend being lazy.
