Let the flames commence... but you can't deny the truth. :D

Yeah, chicks are dicks just like dudes.

The problem is feminists make out like chicks are all sweet put upon little victims and guys are all predatory assholes.

Both sexes suck.

I call my brother a tight bastard because he won't buy me something despite being loaded.
Is that the same thing?

I'm in both boats (LJ and Badbabysistter) on this.

The feminism movement arose at a time when women had fewer rights than men in the Western World. But currently - women have achieved a lot of rights in the Western World , and in most segments of society men=women.

The moderate feminists focus only on the still existent pockets of oppression (some cases of domestic abuse, discrimination or sexual harassment in a few work environments - not all of them, of course).
- Unfortunately, some women (the feminazis) don't quite understand what feminism is about and either engage in a war against all men, or behave as if All women are still being discriminated against.

LJ is mad because when he takes women out on dates it has to be dutch, even when its only McDonalds.

But to me if a woman is like that to a high degree? Then she did me a favor showing me how shallow they are and knowing I need not waste time.

Dick moves by men and women early on are the best thing that can happen to people interested in them, its a clear, 'move along' sign.

When was the last time you got laid? Your bitterness does not score points with the women, just to let ya know.

"Last time you got laid" - typical shaming bullshit.

If I were single and not getting laid I'd have put up automated turrets to keep the likes of you at the sidewalk and no closer.

It is certainly better to be a woman today in Western society than it was to be one in centuries past when death in childbirth was far more common and freedom of choice (I do not mean abortion - I mean the ability to get an education or a job) was far less common. That cannot be said for being a woman today in other societies.

I recall learning in Sociology that people who look at a particular class (economic, racial, gender) that is considered by society to be lower than their own can never truly understand the difficulties of that lower class because they are blind to the reality of the lower classes' everyday struggles. That seems reasonable to me. I have always assumed that I do not and will not ever truly understand what it feels like to be a black person in America because I know for a fact that men do not truly understand what it feels like to be a woman.

And you will never know what it's like to be treated as a disposable object - which is something that all men experience.

The first time you get asked to lay down your life for a man you never even met before, you will understand why it's better to be a woman.

In fact, a feminist researcher named Norah Vincent actually felt as you do, and recently lived for 18 months as a man. (Something a lot of "men" on Lit should try doing.) She was very glad to go back to being a woman.

Funny, how no one even dares to ask why a feminist researcher would say openly that women have it easier than men.
