I just watched a bottle fly across a crowd of fans, and into the face of a musician.
The musician was onstage, playing his guitar and singing.

Yes, I am watching Nashville. The musician is a young man who came out.
The man who threw the beer bottle was a red neck that has violent hatred
for a former mainstream country and western star.

This small clip of film exhibits the desecration of hope.

It took just one violent hateful man, who took one violent action,
to put a stop to everyone's pleasant and enjoyable time.

The violent man felt he had a right to be unpleasant,
and shout hurtful insults and slurs. The violent man
only cared about his emotions. He did not care that
all of the other people were there to give the young
gay man a chance. They had hopes of listening to
enjoyable music and hearing a wonderful set of songs.

The bottle that was thrown by the violent man cut the young man's nose and mouth.
The the young man's face was dripping with blood.

No one had expected that the man who had become aggressive with language,
would turn to expressing himself with a physical attack.

The violent man came back to the venue, the next night.
The young man was onstage, ready to play, again.

The violent man was ready to repeat his ugly display.
The violent man shouted more ugly insults.

"Get off of the stage, homo!"

Security confronted the violent man.
"You should leave."

Security pulled the violent man away, to the door.

The young gay man exclaimed he would not let his rights to be taken away.
The crowd applauded his determination and bravery.
The crowd and the musician proceded to have a good time.

Someone gave the violent man the idea that he had the right to act on his emotions, and hurt someone.

He did not like the idea that the young man could live as a happy gay man.
He wanted to stop him from playing and singing.

I am one of the people that voted for President Obama.
Hope and Change for the better, and for all people.

I was hoping that everyone who behaved like a decent human being,
would be treated like a decent human being.

The old ways were denial, falsehood, and slander.

Cruelty and violence were brought back by Trump.
He spreads lies, he feeds hated and and he encourages violence.

There is beauty when all hold hands and smile.

There is ugliness, when there are snarling faces, spewing hatred.

There is pain in the heart, and hurt in the body, when hopes of acceptance and welcome are taken away.

The richest country in the world cannot afford generosity and kindness ?

Jeb Bush threw away more than a hundred million dollars, on a half hearted campaign for president.

With lack of transparency concerning campaign funds, it could have been two hundred million.

Meanwhile in Boston, the most integrated school we have is closing classes for gifted children because there is no money to fund them. They are losing art, music, library resources and math teachers.

Was he charged with any crime (the violent guy)? If not there is part of the problem. Isn't 'string 'em up. It'll teach 'em a lesson' a traditional Yank saying?

Hope has been desecrated. How is change doing?

All I can say is WOW! I'm not gay but really don't care how anyone else lives.
The violent man should have been in jail, not back at the concert.
It's definately time for change.
But not in my lifetime.

It's a TV show.

"Nashville" is on ABC Wednesday evenings.

By the way "what's TV?"
It's how people organize and occupy their time when not doing something useful.

Y'know, a self-induced lobotomy.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a pre-frontal lobotomy.

But that's just me; YMMV.

Yes, it was just a television drama.

This show illustrates and connects with a very essential dynamic that has been recently activated through Trump, and others like him.

The law of the land, is that you can say anything that you want.
Freedom of speech is a right of every person, in America.

The law of the land is that you do not harm another person,
and you do not harm their property.

Your freedom to express yourself ends when it concerns another person's well being, or their property.

All during my life, minorities were physically harmed, and made to feel afraid.
What a coincidence it is, that people who had hatred and violence against minorities in their hearts, were given the idea that hurting people was something that would be accepted by the Republican party.

I have posted, many times, that I have censored my words in public, out of fear of physical violence.

Simply stated, I felt as if some white male Republican might express his dislike of my point of view, by smashing my face with his fist.

Freedom of speech by law means nothing, when a violent man decides he will take your freedom of speech away with violence.

You cannot say much, if your jaw is broken, your nose is broken and your lips have deep cuts.

The terrorism used by white supremacists never ended.

White privilege means less, when wealth does not enforce it.

Welcome to equality, where everyone has a choice, a chance, and a place in society according to merit.

(Unless, a White Supremist decides it is within their power to cock block access. No health care for women. No access to abortion for women. No equal right to purchase goods or services because you are LBGT. No access to an quality education, if you are a member of a minority. No right to continue staying alive, if you are a minority male or female.)

This week's horror was a naked young minority teen male, shot to death by a policeman.

"Of the Civil War Amendments, the Fourteenth Amendment had the most far-reaching effect on the meaning of the Constitution. It conferred both national and state citizenship upon birth, thereby protecting the legal status of the newly freed slaves. Eventually, the amendment would be interpreted to apply most provisions in the Bill of Rights to the states as well as the national government. And finally, the Fourteenth Amendment introduced the ideal of equality to the Constitution for the first time, promising “equal protection of the laws.”

"A key feature of the Fourteenth Amendment was that it directly prohibited certain actions by the states. It also gave Congress the power to enforce the amendment through legislation. The Fourteenth Amendment represented a great expansion of the power of the national government over the states. It has been cited in more Supreme Court cases than any other part of the Constitution. In fact, it made possible a new Constitution—one that protected rights throughout the nation and upheld equality as a constitutional value."

Radovan Karadzic serves 40 years for genocide

Before the agression

Happy neighbors, all parts of these countries had put aside old grudges and rivalries. All religions, all clans have intermarriage.
The communities are intergrated. There is tolerance. There is interdependence.
A peaceful undeclared truce, among all rivalries.
A rural life does not have room for wasting resources on games.
Dying of cold and starvation are serious considerations, there.
Cooperation is valuable.

Communities before 1999

Suddenly, neighbors are killing neighbors, neighbors are raping neighbors, deadly animosity among formerly friendly neighbors.

Is This What Trump Would Bring into America ?

Atrocities of hate?

Would Trump reawaken Deadly Southern Racism and Deadly Southern Terrorism ?
Are Trump sanctioned lynchings, rapes, murders a possibility ?

How similar are the sufferings of the lower middle class in America, to the suffering of the lower middle class in Germany ? What came after the reparations to all the countries harmed by Germany's aggression, was poverty, fear, and deprivation.

Too harsh, too brutal, too much suffering by Germany's lower middle class.
Hitler found his chance by exploiting the same anger, frustration, uncertainty and fear that hangs about the ears of the American lower middle class of today.
Trump has created a feedback loop. Trump keyed into their emotions, and he feeds the anger.

Do you live in a bubble ?

Lower middle class, struggling with the effects of outsourcing , visas for imported guest workers with no valuable skills. The lack of jobs that are not part time, not menial, not low paying.

Trump boast
"I will be the greatest job creating President that God/god ever made."

(Trump is a member of the elite that is screwing over Americans, to save money for his companies. Trump condemns other corporations for doing what Trump is doing.)

HUGE centerpiece of Donald Trump’s HUGE presidential pitch is to bash U.S. immigration policy while promising more jobs for Americans.

Mar-a-Lago jobs were filled by foreign workers, many from Romania, for whom Trump’s club obtained legal visas.

Labor Department records show that, during the past five years, he has sought more than 500 H-2B visas to bring foreign workers to Mar-a-Lago. He has also used the same method to fill positions at his Virginia vineyard and golf resorts in Jupiter, West Palm Beach and New Jersey.

Trump’s case for hiring visa workers instead of Americans is flimsy. South Florida has 6.2 million residents and a vast service industry.

We want America to be great, again.

"The Humans" a play about the struggles of middle class families.

As its title suggests, The Humans is about old human issues: health and money and lodging and love, and the overriding fear of losing them. And yet, in its mash-up of genres — family drama meets psychological thriller over Thanksgiving dinner — it is also nervily modern. Along with many critics who saw it Off Broadway at the Roundabout’s Laura Pels Theatre, I thought it was the best play of 2015, and thus sadly likely to disappear from New York by 2016.

gsgs comment-

There are those that are not steeping their hearts in hate.
They are not fiercely racist.
The uncertainty of their future is painful to them.
They are listening and hoping for an answer to their problems.
But, there is a minority that is there to feed their hate, because Trump does offer opportunities to allow the worst in their character to be witnessed in public.
There is blood on the floor, at Trump's rallies.

What is it, that the haters want ?

Here's a sampling of attitudes among tea party followers:

63 percent believes that discrimination against whites is as big a problem as discrimination against minority groups.
66 percent believes that the values of Islam are at odds with American values.
54 percent believes that American Muslims are trying to establish Sharia law in the U.S.
56 percent believes that newcomers from other countries threaten traditional American customs and values.
72 percent believes we should deport all illegal immigrants back to their home countries.

In the TV show was he arrested? If not, there is half the problem. TV has such a grip on the mob, if it portrayed violent racist being arrested and tossed in a paddy wagon, the mob would think that was the acceptable way of dealing with such types.

Nobody in the mob watches ABC. They all have HBO and Netflix.
