my 2 y.o.g.d. just put her head through the glass door of an antique curio cabinet

and barely got a scratch.

only divine intervention

could have kept her from harm.

The luck of being a kid. I should have died a hundred times over as a kid but got away with it. Now I wouldn't.

not really. i've had glasses shatter in my hand without receiving even the tiniest of cuts. with glass it's all about luck.

Pretty much everything that has existed, does exist, and will exist, is magical and miraculous.

I have a tiny scar on the bridge my nose, from putting my face through a glass door.

If I had children, I would put hockey goalie helmets on their heads.

How is your pulse and heartbeat, Mr. Notorious ?

I used to smash my head into things as a kid.

I've got the scars to prove it, too.

Praise Jebus!

Seriously glad your little one is ok.

Please locate whichever omni-prescient deity takes responsibility for the intervention and petition them for a little more action with some global issues.

I also nearly died many times when young; I bear scars and fractures as proof.

A 'miracle' is often defined as a one-in-a-million occurrence.

One million seconds is about 11 days 13 hours 41 minutes.

Expect a miracle at least that often.

Loki is worshipped as The Trickster so I suppose Divine Luck could have been the explanation.

Glad to hear Loki was watching out for her or was not looking at the time, whichever.

PS re: my current survival.

Is it a bloody miracle?

Or a damn curse?
_____

I assume most of my personal miracles occurred whilst I was asleep / fainted / comatose because other that a speeding semi-truck barely missing my carelessly bicycling self, I don't recall witnessing anything inexplicable.

I previously defined a miracle as a one-in-a-million event. At one possible miracle per second, that's eleven-odd days between miracles. Which means the other 999,999 seconds are anti- or at least non-miracle time. Have you experienced anti-miracles?
