I'm turning 62 this month. Inside, I'm still the same immature 14-year-old who tells someone they're full of shit when they step over the line, which I did at work today to a co-worker, spontaneously. I do a daily morning affirmation mindfulness ritual: courtesy, diplomacy, discretion, kind-hearted, mature, common sense, etc. etc. :)

Could you tell me I'm full of shit sometime? It'd make my day. I'm sure I could try to provoke you, if it's needed.

And congratulations on hanging on to your teens. That's good.

:rose:

Happy Birthday! Treat yourself to something that your 14 year old inner self will love. :)

Happy kick-ass 62nd birthday!

I've always admired LadyVer. She's got class, smarts, spunk, sense and bullshit meter of the finest caliber. She has great taste in music, and never hesitates to point out the obvious to one who is tragically clueless. We were almost... kinda... neighbors, once... too.
;)

Happy 62nd! :heart::kiss::rose:

I still feel the same way in my 66th year...I'm about 16 or 17 in my head. Able to leap tall buildings by running up the stairs without breathing heavily...etc. When in reality I huff and puff just slowly climbing a flight of stairs.

Try something else till you find what works.

I should have

I should have and should be reciting that same mantra.

Happy birthday from the Midwest

btw-- I think 62 might just be similar to 26 if your mindset is positive

Well, reversing the digits doesn't work so well for the next few years. I believe the correct approach is that you are supposed to start counting backwards at 50. That way things are always getting better ;-) So, "Happy 38th" would seem to be in order.

Happy Birthday kid!

Hope you had a fun one with lots of orgasms. ha

That yelling at people - they probably deserved it!
But I've been working on that for years and came up with something to remember. It's: No FAT or no HAT
Most of us Feel or Hear something, then Act on it (or react), then Think about it. So the saying, no Feel, Act, Think
And try to make it FTA instead, Feel, THINK, Act. Works better.
And pray James 1:19, Help us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry.

Good luck and nice to meat you. MF

Den

Wish I was only 62. Keep acting 14 and have fun.

I act 21 sometimes and 101 other times. But so far I've woke up everyday.;)

Happy belated BD LadyVer!!

You always class up the joint! :rose:

:rose: Thanks, tali!

I think I say fuck and bastards too much to qualify for class. :( This still limits women from being acceptable. In 2016.:)

Not in the right company ;-) Class is as class does.

What did you treat yourself to for your birthday?

I don't think I did, due to a few issues I've been dealing with. When I get through this, I'm doing something. :)

I passed my 62nd a few years back. I don't remember the day. Perhaps that's best.

I'm far beyond 62 but life taught me one important lesson: WHATEVER AGE YOU ARE MOST PEOPLE THAT AGE LOOK AROUND AND TRY TO CONFORM TO WHATEVER THE COOL KIDS DO. The goal of psychotherapy is to help people piss when they gotta piss and eat chicken when they want chicken. Don't grab your head when someone kicks your balls.
