Employee turnover rate is down significantly. Minimum wage jobs are high turnover jobs historically....when an employee is offered 25 cents more an hour elsewhere, they are outta there! Paying above minimum wage fosters a lower turnover rate, something unheard of in the fast food industry. Managers spend less time interviewing candidates and training replacements, and restaurants run more efficiently.

McDonald's was heading into the crapper but was saved by that little gimmick. Do they have the mustard to survive long term or can this buy them some time to fix the issues.

I assume you have stats proving McDonalds was heading into the crapper? Not that business was a little down but that they were in any real risk of going away and that Breakfast all day had anything to do with saving them? The good parts of the breakfast menu are still only available in the morning.
