I'm black and the nation should be

Trump's ongoing success would argue otherwise, unfortunately.

Only among a small subset of conservatives (the racist, the xenophobic, and the simple). His way of thinking is anathema to the majority of the country. This is why he hasn't a chance in the general election where he may have decades ago.

Those who think as he does are a dwindling few grasping for any power they can get their grubby little hands on. IN a tiny town in the South he might be elected mayor, but in a national election, he's toast.

And Dewey was supposed to defeat Truman ....

Ishmael's post, as written by George Lucas:

ANAKIN
We need a system where the
politicians sit down and discuss
the problems, agree what's in the
best interests of all the people,
and then do it.

PADME
That is exactly what we do. The
trouble is that people don't
always agree. In fact, they
hardly ever do.

ANAKIN
Then they should be made to.

PADME
By whom? Who's going to make them?

ANAKIN
I don't know. Someone.

PADME
You?

ANAKIN
Of course not me.

PADME
But someone.

ANAKIN
Someone wise.

PADME
That sounds an awful lot like a
dictatorship to me.

A mischievous little grin creeps across his face.

ANAKIN
Well, if it works...

I get what you're saying here, Ish.

So, instead, let's "vote our education".

I have an excellent one. Yours, however, is outdated, and the vessel in which it is carried is obviously defective.

*points gun* Now, kindly GTFO of my country. :)

There's no expiration date on a degree...

This rolled along quite nicely. Yet another demonstration on the part of the left of their "open mindedness' and willingness to engage in reasoned discussion. *chuckle*

You would have to actually start a reasonable discussion to know. Your opening posts were not remotely reasonable or factual, and you wonder why you were mocked.

It has degraded to the point that only their education is a valid education.

Clarice Feldman has a nice piece regarding their political mentors this morning:

Good read, I especially liked this part;

This is not a temporary adjustment. It is a new reality, as Codevilla writes today. “America is now ruled by a uniformly educated class of persons that occupies the commanding heights of bureaucracy, of the judiciary, education, the media, and of large corporations, and that wields political power through the Democratic Party. Its control of access to prestige, power, privilege, and wealth exerts a gravitational pull that has made the Republican Party’s elites into its satellites.

“This class’s fatal feature is its belief that ordinary Americans are a lesser intellectual and social breed. Its increasing self-absorption, its growing contempt for whoever won’t bow to it, its dependence for votes on sectors of society whose grievances it stokes, have led it to break the most basic rule of republican life: deeming its opposition illegitimate.”

Democrats and Republicans who still think that this is a phase – a fever they just need to wait out before a return to normalcy – are utterly delusional.

So if I vote for a woman, am I voting with my genitals?
If you vote for a man, are you voting with YOUR genitals?

Why are white men seen to represent everyone while women or people of a different ethnicity are not?

Hmm...

Your entire post is based on a false premise/assumption. Let's see if you can figure out what it is.

Mine came here from 1607 till around 1840. Plenty of my people were already here to greet them. One was black, her husband was married, he got caught and divorced, and they married up in New York City. He was rich and tight with Washington and other Founders, and few fucked with them. She was free, so that's interesting all by itself.

If that's all true, and I have no reason to think it isn't, it is all interesting, indeed.
