The weather has me wishing for pristine beaches, warm sun, and fancy drinks with umbrellas in them...my wallet is giving me enough to go to a tanning salon and have a beer...so instead I came up with this idea.

A middle-age woman goes to the beach to get away for a week. She soaks up the sun and indulges in a few vices...including a bit of mind-control or manipulation. Yes, our protagonist has always had the power to shift the minds of others around but she tries not to use it in her home town and saves her abilities for when she's out and about.

So for this vacation, she decides to just cut loose and have a week of debauchery, either using subtle or overt techniques. So maybe she just puts on a skimpy bikini and then issues a psychic command to anyone who stares that they have to keep looking. She then pulls in one of the lookers in and seduces them right on the beach while she has the other lookers watch.

Maybe she charms her way into a couple's honeymoon.

Maybe she just makes people around her give in to their Ids while she sips free drinks from the bar.

Maybe she gets a huge line of potential lovers to stand outside her hotel door to pull a train in her.

Or, if you want some taboo, maybe she can sense when someone's watching her with lustful eyes and decides to start teasing her unseen admirer. At the same time, she's there with her adult kids, letting them do their own thing and checking with them at breakfast and dinner. On one of her last nights she decides to seduce her admirer and leaves a pair of soiled panties behind when she knows he/she is watching, and then transmits a psychic command to come to her room later. Come midnight, she is there in a loose robe and tight stockings when she hears a knock. She can practically taste her admirer's lust and flings the door open, only to discover her son/daughter(s) pacing around. She asks what's wrong and then sees her panties in their hand.

Regarding the honeymoon idea, I kind of like the idea of her working her psychic whammy on a young newlywed couple so she can capitalize on the groom's enthusiastic affections while the bride is made to act as a servant girl and fluffer.

I like that angle. I find idea of a woman being made to get her guy ready for use by another woman extremely appealing. Especially if the woman is aware of what is going on and can react to it emotionally, but can't control what she is doing.

Developing the theme, perhaps rather than boyfriend/girlfriend, why not older sister / younger brother, or mother / son?

I do like that angle as well and the taboo ideas have quite a bit of cruelty potential. For example, son has been secretly thinking about mom for some time and mom has been wanting a younger man to want her for some time.

Our protagonist scoops them up and starts teasing them both mercilessly. Maybe she makes the son admit to his Oedipal attraction but just lets the mom watch as her son is turned into the lover she's dreamed about. Maybe at the end, she gets the mom to confess what she wants and let's them fuck, then covers everything up by making them believe every time son had sex with her, he was actually fucking his mom.

With siblings though, maybe she switches who she makes the fluffer but makes each of them that they've never gotten the other role.

I dislike MC scenarios unless there's a cost to the controller. What does the cougar suffer when she exercises control? I *will* go with charisma from enhanced pheromones, and she can somewhat consciously control her scent.

Again, each squeeze should exact something from her. An author can create any mechanism here. Maybe every 'push' on a male must be balanced with a female. Thus she's hooked on three-ways and seducing girls into a bi lifestyle. Or maybe each 'push' only lasts a limited time; how do her victims react when her influence wears off?

And maybe she finds her siblings and children (and parents, aunts, and uncles?) are easiest to take and last longest. Are they acquiescent?

EDIT: It's a family gathering at the beach. Our cougar Carole is in fine form, and extremely horny. Over the course of the afternoon she leads various relatives (by ones and twos) behind a sand dune for fun. All are somewhat reluctant but they just can't help themselves -- she's so charismatic! Maybe she drags in a few strangers too.

MC and incest together doesn't work for me. The whole appeal of the genre is the people resisting their taboo desires but eventually giving in because the attraction overwhelmed their natural resistance.

I like the rest of the idea though. Getting between a bride and groom, forcing the bride to be a fluffer (and like it) for the predatory cougar. That's hot.

What if instead of costs she just has limits? For example, in one of the three-way stories, she can only actually control one person at a time so she has to juggle between them and needs to use her own charisma to make whoever is the most submissive think they're still being controlled when she's focusing on the other.

Or maybe psychic suggestions are a free action but controlling someone mentally taxes her and she falls unconscious if she does it for too long? For example, she overstretches her power while guiding a guy to her room and ends up falling asleep naked on her bed, waking up the next morning to a surprised maid staring down at her.

That's fair. So far the honeymoon idea seems to have the most interest. I figure it should ultimately end on a nicer note for the couple. Our lead has fun with them and gets her own enjoyment out of it but she also gets the bride to loosen her inhibitions and be more open with her desires while the groom becomes a skilled lover.

I like the one at a time idea. It's a plausible limit on an implausible ability. That's one of the things that makes extra-normal abilities seem more real. Power without limits is really pretty boring as a plot idea.

Quite. We create interesting stories by exploiting constraints and contradictions. Classic formulae: in Drama, actions bring inevitable consequences but not necessarily justice; in Comedy, the low are raised high; in Tragedy, the high are brought low. And omnipotence cannot stand. Superman requires Kryptonite; Achilles must have his heel. All-powerful {JHWH} is boring.
