First Rule of Vegas

Basically a "gambler fucks up" story idea, which could be played a few ways, all spinning on the same basic idea: Never make a bet you're not willing to lose on.

Gambler gets into a high-stakes game, and gets hustled into betting a night with a loved one (wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, or whoever else), naturally, they lose big on this one.

Gambler gets into a lot of debt, and the people they play against, or who they borrowed money from, has an alternative debt repayment plan summed up as "Ass for Cash". Could be the gambler paying their own debt off, or a loved one being used to pay the debt or serve as collateral until it's paid off.

Comedy option: Story takes place from the POV of the hustler, who tricks the gambler into betting their loved one, only to realize after winning that they bit off more than they could handle (cue the mousy schoolteacher housewife being a dominatrix who manages to tie the Made Man Vegas mafioso to a chair when he lets his guard down.)

I've a rough idea for a simple High Stakes Casino where the medium of exchange is sex, not cash. Winners fuck and losers get fucked. I've not taken it further but I assume players bet their own asses as well as their partners'. An action player might bring a paid cohort to wager with -- but it still gets down to their own butt (and mouth, etc) on the line.

Could be interesting. Would the chips represent lengths of time, with the players maybe being able to work out deals where certain acts are given time multipliers (so ten minutes of anal might cost twenty minutes worth of chips). A particularly industrious loser might opt for something really creative to pay off their debt as quickly as possible.

Yeah, the mechanics of play are the tricky parts, author-wise. How to value various acts, orientations, times, intensities, etc. And do players lie about their proclivities? (Of course the do!) Maybe some players win by losing. Oh no, don't fuck me there! Not with that! (Whimper...)

The we're-just-friends version of the game is only strip poker gone overboard. The high-stakes-casino version must be more formal. Cards? Dice? Chess? Go? Maybe roulette is the proper metaphor, with a cash buy-in so the house can take a cut. Is the wheel honest? Sexual favors are wagered; the winner rakes them in and the losers submit. Side-bets might influence durations -- I'll go ten-to-one that he can't take being dry-pegged for twelve minutes!
