Just wondering if anyone else views masturbation as a main event rather than a substitute for intercourse?

My situation has denied me good intercourse for so long, I really prefer masturbation and crave my time with myself. Thoughts, comments, feelings?

It's my back up plan that I happen to use a lot. But yes nothing compare to the real thing.

I strongly agree!!! Nothing but nothing can compare to a nice soft, smooth, silky, warm, woman! Specially when you have feelings for her that are more than just the physical (prostitues are just one step above mastrubation cause theres no passion or joy involved). Nothing gives me more pleasure than my partners pleasure!!! Masturbation is just a pressure release valve.

I think of masturbation as in addition to other forms of sex.
Well said 4yourpleasureiam.

It can be an accompaniment to intercourse, or as a prelude to as a way of foreplay (I love watching a guy masturbate) or as a temporary fill for a period of time, because your partner is away, but it can't ever replace the intimacy shared between two people born out by the act of intercourse.

well said. popular view. More so if the partners like anal.

There is no substitute for a long sweaty sheet ripping sex session. So when I masturbate it's something in of itself. Like when I'm chatting, or finished chatting on this site. Sometimes I'll be horny to the point where I'll want to pleasure myself. When I get horny just naturally I'll go look for my wife's pussy.

Different situations, different actions.

Thank you. You say that perfectly. the act of intimate intercourse, when two become one.
