Just as I predicted, there will not be any autopsy for justice Antonin Scalia, most likely because it would reveal foul play.

The man was found dead in his bed with a pillow over his face and there will not be any homicide investigation.

This brings to mind, the CIA had a gun that fired a dart at high velocity containing a chemical agent which caused the target person to have a heart attack, and that was during the 1970's.

Just imagine all the neat tools they have today for "stroking" or "heart attacking" undesired politicians.

It works better and isn't as logistically problematic as a car accident, plane crash, or suicide.

Autopsy are not done on elderly people who die from apparent natural causes.
No conspiracy plot will make some local coroner with a limited budget waste taxpayers money.
Assassination of American political figures does not fall under the scope of the CIA. I am sure there is another American intelligence D) agency which handles that.

Additionally why tip their hand? Any body with the resources to kill Scalia with a heart attack has the resources to hire a doctor who will find natural causes and write out a laundry list of conditions Scalia was living with.

From what I heard the pillow was "above his head", not over his face. They don't do routine autopsies on people over a certain age. Especially for someone of his weight, there's little reason to suspect foul play.

Perhaps less related to this case, but I'm bringing it up because -strangely- Michael Hastings has been on my mind since people started these discussions:
For those looking for conspiracy theories, I would rather go with Michael Hastings.

His car got out of control & exploded a day after he sent an email to Wikileaks and an army friend saying that he was onto something big & he was worried for his life because he's been tailed (credible, since he was the whistle-blower re gen. Petreus). And an expert claimed that the accident was consistent with remote hacking.

He was immediately cremated by authorities without asking for the family's permission. His family and wife expressed their concerns and hired a private investigator. But a week later, they tried to hush the whole thing up, claiming -for the first time- that he had been using drugs on the day of the accident. Yes, he was "using", but in moderate amounts for his ADHD.

Really? All these years I've just left the pillow on the person's face. I always thought I was doing something wrong but couldn't quite put my finger on exactly what it was.

Of course his being a high ranking member of the Federal government there is no reason for anyone to exam the body. After all if your family member died you would be willing to have some non medical person make the final decision and get someone over the phone to agree with you. I mean if the president died in his bed no one would ask for an exam of the body. Just call "Dial a Death Certificate and press one if natural causes, two if killed by a zombie, three......"
