When you open a window to post a reply, or to make a new post, if you scroll down you will see "Attach Files" and a button "Manage Attachments".

Click on Manage Attachments and you can browse your hard drive to find an appropriate picture and the size limitations.

You might have to resize a picture to get it small enough.

I have attached a picture of me as Henry VIII to show you the result. It was taken during a rehearsal so I'm not wearing the full outfit. But you have to click ON it to see an attachment.
