I'm gong on record, stating that this could be it. Worse than 2008 and sadly we have someone like Obama that is too ignorant to realize it. Maybe Obama has already put the white flag up as he knows even if he wanted to do "something" he can't.

I say can't because Obama lacks the skills to be a leader

The record does not appear broken.

And no Jen this isn't worse than 2008. It won't even be a bad year.

Anyone who thinks this is worse than 2008 doesn't understand squat about 2008.

I understand, economically, then and now.

Then occurred by a mutual suicide agreement by both political parties.

Now is because neither one will confess to their malfeasance and opportunism...

Where did you put the $$? What did you buy? Will you get back in at some point?

In bonds.

At my age, probably not.

But let me elaborate, not for you, but for the haters, we have also invested in gold, silver, ammunition, food, etc.

We believe in a mixed basket, but we do not believe in the Fed....

Will I get it back?

With several nations delving into negative interest rates, I have grave doubts if anything I am investing in "will get it back." I'm hoping just to stay solvent until I die and become Soylent...

I am contemplating even branching out into Bitcoin.

Thanks. I too am balanced, at a risk appropriate level.
I also have ammunition but only for a pellet gun. Zombie squirrels, you know.

lol

I spend probably $2 to $3 dollars a year on .22 ammo to kill squirrels at my bird feeder...

:D

What we spend on feeding the birds is clearly only an expenditure on entertainment/art and how can the government calculate that when it decides where to spend money?

;) ;)

If the shit really hits the fan ammunition will become a highly valued form of currency.

What precisely in 2008 was a mutual suicide agreement?
