Judge Napolitano: ‘The FBI Now Has Leverage’ With Hillary’s Aides Who Could Be Indicted

Via Daily Caller:

Judge Andrew Napolitano said Thursday that “the FBI now has leverage” in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and can indict Clinton’s top aides and trade less punishment for testimony against her.

Citing the report by Fox News’s Catherine Herridge and Pamela K. Browne, Napolitano said on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom” that “Mrs. Clinton’s top aides regularly received from Mrs. Clinton via her private server Top Secret emails. These are emails which the aides lacked the security clearance to receive.”

“So this tells us a couple things,” Napolitano said. “One, Mrs. Clinton was so reckless in the manner in which she sent out Top Secret emails, knowingly sending them to people who weren’t authorized to receive them.”

“We know two, their acceptance, discussion and transfer of this is a felony. We know three, that the FBI now has leverage. The Justice Department can indict her top aides and trade with them,” Napolitano said. “What would they want? Testimony against Mrs. Clinton in return for a deal with them. This is the way the government works.”

Hillary Clinton Is Now Tied To At Least Four Investigations By Federal Agencies…

What difference does it make?

Via Daily Caller:

The State Department’s inspector general last year subpoenaed the Clinton Foundation for documents related to work that required approval from the Hillary Clinton State Department, making it now at least four investigations involving the Democratic presidential candidate being conducted by federal agencies.

According to The Washington Post, the State Department inspector general’s subpoena, which was filed in the fall, also sought records related to longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s concurrent employment in 2012 with the State Department, the Clinton Foundation, and Teneo Holdings, a Clinton-connected consulting firm.

Jail suits you Ms. Clinton. However, I must ask you, what spell did you perform on the citizens of the free world to suck up to Bernie Sanders? What kind of American would vote for a Socialist/communist? This country was BORN a democracy. It will remain a democracy. But you know what? Fine, tell me about the free college and free health care. I would LOVE that. In fact, I NEED that. I'm willing to vote in that direction but first I need to know how the college and health care will be paid. Will the government print more money? Will they borrow from China? I can't wait to cast my vote for all this free stuff as soon as I'm informed where the money is coming from to provide tuition and health insurance.

The country was born a Republic, the Founders feared and loathed Democracy.

DeTocqueville (among many others) presaged that it would last only until the citizenry learned that they could vote themselves the largess of the treasury.

By degrees, and on really bad populist Amendment to the Constitution, we have become more of a democracy and we are voting to use the largess of of the treasury to do good and charitable work. Increasingly each new generation has embraced democracy, powerful government and the dream that by good governance we can abrogate human nature and perfect society.

What we see now is the youth, steeped in semi-Socialist government, embracing the intellectual philosophies and ideas that end to make them think that Socialism is a good thing and that it is not working because we haven't applied it enough, and the reason that we haven't is that there are selfish people out there who do not understand what an unfair idea "Capitalism" always was...

;) ;)

Spicy, there is nothing incompatible between a democracy (or a Republic) and socialism. One is a form of government, the other an economic theory. They coexist around the world.

How long must we wait before DeTocqueville is proven correct, AJ? The income tax is more than a century old, and the populace discovered it can vote themselves the "largess of the treasury" in earnest back in FDR's day and yet we still last. Did DeTocqueville (or the many others) put a timeline on our collapse?

As for increasingly embracing democracy as the years pass, that's probably true but largely irrelevant. Democracy and votes have less meaning now than ever (which is probably why people are jumping on the socialist and Trump populist trains). With one really bad Supreme Court decision, we are most firmly (and now permanently) ruled by a oligarchy that numbers only in the hundreds. The votes of millions are restricted to the choices we are given by the handful who pour in the money and pull the strings. And the choices have become between milquetoast and milky milquetoast. Certainly we're given nobody who is willing to stand up in favor of the millions over the hundreds.

Thank you for the correction. I found this:

the Occupy Strategy Session at New York University, all the usual suspects are once again targeting capitalism. This isn't surprising, anybody who digs into the roots of all this 'Occupy' stuff will quickly see that it's all based on progressivism and central planning - with a hint of socialism, a hint of communism, and they have even teamed up with Islamists. But this business about the incompatibility of capitalism and democracy. What makes that true?

In 1887, Woodrow Wilson wrote an essay titled "Socialism and Democracy", and in my original entry I wrote an observation about mobs.

We've all seen what 'Occupy' does. They're a mob. And what does the mob want? Other people's money. So Woodrow Wilson was right after all. Democracy is socialism. Then democracy and capitalism are indeed incompatible.

Isn't it a good thing then, that the Founding Fathers gave us a republic?

He said what, not when, or how long. Government debt as a percentage of GDP keeps growing and would be growing even more if interest rates were allowed to rise naturally. That is the result of spending without raising revenue, the current crop of voters are living of the labor of future voters. Of course, this is sustainable for ever...

:nods:

And we clearly see that with the Sanders phenomenon that your argument as inculcated the American youth in the joy of Socialism to the point that he promises them more "free" things, that they never ever stop to think of the consequences to an immediate benefit in their favor.

Neither does anyone who supported the OWS movement.

sigh...

;)

Are you one of those people who do not believe that crap about middle class wage stagnation and the subsequent loss of spending power?

PS - I was just reading about a plant relocating...

You don't believe any of that bullshit about regulations and taxes causing business to relocate, right? They just take less profit is all. Correct?
