Mens Rights activist group, Return of Kings has planned these events all over the world. A list of cities where they could still be happening can be found here. http://archive.is/lhMKP. MRA and pro-rape activist Roosh Valizadeh is behind the rallies. He has admitted to assaulting several women and thinks rape should be legal on private property. Women have been threatened on social media.

News sources say Roosh has cancelled the rallies due to the safety risks for the men involved, but that doesn't mean no one is going to show up, or that men who were going to attend won't be prowling about.

Nice to see a thread started by the OP . (I always enjoy reading her posts.)

I googled Roosh Valizadeh's name and most statements are vague and cautious.
Wikipedia" :
"Roosh has self-published 15 books, most of which offer advice to men on how to have coitus with women in specific countries.[11] His writings have received widespread criticism, including accusations of misogyny and promotion of rape."

Does anyone have a link to some of his more controversial statements? Thanks.
(BTW I noticed that he's half iranian and half armenian. I was surprised by his armenian heritage - I thought that they didn't share similar misogynystic views.)

Here is a link about one of his articles where he states "By attempting to teach men not to rape, what we have actually done is teach women not to care about being raped, not to protect themselves from easily preventable acts, and not to take responsibility for their actions.”

“I thought about this problem and am sure I have the solution: make rape legal if done on private property,” he continued. “I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds.”

Well, he likes Trump.

Among the many posts on the Return of Kings website are blogs dedicated to Donald Trump and his campaign to be the Republican nominee for president. In the wake of Trump’s defeat to Ted Cruz in the Iowa caucus, a blog post appeared asking, “Did Microsoft Commit Voter Fraud In Iowa To Ensure Donald Trump’s Defeat?” This was based on the theory that as Microsoft is a large contributor to Marco Rubio’s campaign, they shouldn’t have been the company charged with tallying the votes for the caucus.

Thanks for that.

Call me islamophobe, but imo this has to do a lot with his personal background.
I came across several male muslims, and their beliefs were not too far away from Roosh's. (not all male muslims are like that, of course. I'm only referring to the 'fundamentalistic' ones.)

Further quote from the article :

ad encounters are sure to occur, but these can be learning experiences for the poorly trained woman so she can better identify in the future the type of good man who will treat her like the delicate flower that she believes she is.
Such a change will provide a mature jolt to American women who have been babied for too long, who are protected and coddled as if they have no agency or intellect of their own."

I'm going to the protest against this on Saturday. It sounds like there will be about 300 people there, and probably about 2 or 3 MRA dudes like LT.

I'm going to wear a trench coat and groucho marx glasses, and direct people to "the pet store", which is their code name for the meeting, except that I'm going to try to get them just to go to a pet store, and have them ask for "big al".

What a bunch of fucking clowns.

Richard, you can't be serious.
How can you even think of lumping together people like LJ and Roosh?

Despite his aparent generalizations, LJ's threads target only a certain category of women (those whom he feels treat men poorly) and feminazis. And he posted several threads where he condoned men who abuse women. Plus he's considerate towards female posters.

Yes, in the heat of the moment LJ did throw a few misogynystic statements, unfortunately. But from there to imply that he approves of "rape laws"?
That's inappropriate and offensive.

Yes, in the heat of the moment LJ did throw a few semi-misogynystic statements. But from there to imply that he approves of "rape laws"?
That's inappropriate and offensive.

I think he was only saying LJ is a Mens Right's Activist, not that he is necessarily the same caliber as Roosh. That's how I took it anyway.

You might be right. Then :rose:

((I overreacted because I'm still in a certain mindset after a few recent attacks on LJ, where he was villified by other posters. And I like LJ. Despite his flaming rhetoric, I think he's a good person.))

Thanks

He's NOT a men's rights activist group. Why do you people keep saying this?

He literally hates men's rights.

Shit, I got a thread calling for legalizing the HANGING of this Roosh V bitch.

Despite his aparent generalizations, LJ's threads target only a certain category of women (those whom he feels treat men poorly) and feminazis. And he posted several threads where he condoned men who abuse women. Plus he's considerate towards female posters.

You know how everyone who speaks Arabic, looks "Swarthy" or is a Muslim, is lumped in with ISIS-DAESH/Al Qaeda etc?

Case in point:
http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-sikhs-20151229-story.html

That exact kind of ignorance is what Richard Daily and the entire feminist controlled media is displaying right now.

They know they're wrong - but they're using this to go after MRAs for the same reason that right wing bigots use terrorist attacks to go after anyone who looks Middle Eastern, chooses to speak Arabic, etc.

Look up Horseshoe theory.

Yeah, that's like saying I speak Arabic, ergo I'm a terrorist.

That is literally the same logic as saying Roosh V is a men's rights guy. Literally just as wrong.

You're either fer it or agin it. I'm pretty sure I've never heard anyone say...Rape? Meh.
