People can't figure out why Trump is winning. It's actually pretty simple, in my opinion. It's just that he's not a respecter of mokita. That's why people like what he's doing, even if they don't realize why.
Trump should win comfortably tonight, shaking the Republican establishment to its core. I'll laugh. He should then romp in New Hampshire. I'll laugh more. South Carolina will be interesting.
I hope Sanders wins tonight, but I'm prepared to be disappointed. The Democratic establishment probably has this one, unfortunately. New Hampshire will be different.

It's not confusing why he's winning.
The republican party jumped on the stupid train back in 2008, and they have been going full steam ahead ever since.
Trump is a byproduct of that stupidity.
He's an opportunist who saw a chance to be a populist to a bunch of uneducated folks who feel disenfranchised.
He resonates with them, because he insults people and talks loudly. To some people that qualifies him as a leader.
Unfortunately, those people are stupid.

However...
After how he's served as the tool he is to help make the GOP almost totally irrelevant this election, I believe Trump has earned his chance to continue as the tool he is to make the unavoidable constitutional fiasco ahead much, much more entertainingly spectacular - so I'm most definitely rooting for him to be the USSA's next LINC.

Between the two parties, Iowa was pretty much a five-way dead heat because the delegates are delegated proportionately...

All the early states award delegates proportionately. At least the way the Republicans do it in Iowa makes some sense. The way the Democrats do it is crazy.
