If he is in US with you, he has a tiny bit better chance to avoid being shot. Are Hispanics the majority in your area. I would assume this would help against redneck type shit.

My husband is deported and I don't get to see him much (about once a month) so when I am with him its like the whole world disappears and there is nobody else. I am going to see him today
(can't wait to have him fill these aching arms)

I believe ex has threatened with knives
His ex, I believe is crazy and now I am worried she has done something crazy. Can I file some sort of restraining order against her through the Mexican authorities? Or am I SOL because it is Mexico?

He mentioned something about knives today, I fear that she has threatened him with them.
She has already struck him with scissors a few years back, so I know she is capable of bodily harm.

Unless you had legal power of attorney of your husband, I doubt you can file anything anywhere. If she threatens you direct you probably can.
Also restrainting orders really don't work that well with crazy people.
