speaking as a healthcare professional, I recommend that you come up with a cover story ahead of time. Try to find a realistic activity that would put you in a similar position with an equal stress level. Perhaps you could suggest that you were held captive by a local drug cartel.. or that you're the model for the pictures in The Adventures of Mrs. Jesus. This will keep the medical team from gossiping about you in the break room while they're waiting for your pain medicine to kick in.
