Don't time zones suck. No sooner do we hitch up with a kindred spirit and things get tingly that either she falls asleep or I do; or she has to get up for work or I do !
The vast majority of contributors to Lit seem to be USA based. Wouldn't it be great to have a mini directory of European or British or Irish members who can operate at the same levels of time (and arousal lol).
Have we any Irish girls on Lit ?

Yes yes yes!

You have stated it perfectly. I'm down under in Australia and it's very frustrating.

Glad you agree. I forgot about the Australian angle. Frustration and Literotica should NOT be buddies

Even East coast to West coast in the States can be a pain and that's only 3 hours. As an avid tennis fan this is something that I've dealt with for years, especially right now with the Australian Open being contested which is 16 hours ahead of me. While it's not the same, I certainly feel your pain.

There a good few Brits and Europeans on her...seek them out via the UK threads on the playground!;)

haha so I'm not the only Aussie on here.

Happyplayer you are spot on. i love the idea of having mini directories.

Obviously it would have to be a voluntary directory. Wouldn't be nice if guys named girls or anything like that. It would be nice to know who is in our local parts

It's definitely an issue. Whenever I find someone who matches my interests it turns out to be a pain that they're 8 hours behind...

I have enough trouble just in Arizona when I'm there.

Arizona does not recognize Daylight Savings Time (DST) -- they have enough daylight and feel no need to preserve any, thus their clocks are like California half the year and like New Mexico the other half.

That's except for the 1/6th of Arizona that is the Navaho Nation, which IS on DST, probably to piss-off the state's movers-n-shakers in Phoenix. So you change time zones at Tuba City.

But about 1/3 of the Navajo Nation is comprised of the Hopi Nation. Peaceful Hopis were there first. The Hopi word for Navaho translates as 'head-crusher' because that's what Athabaskan (Navaho and Apache) invaders did to Hopis. Anyway, Hopis don't much care for Navaho occupiers; they keep Arizona time. So, just past Tuba City, you change time zones again.

Except that Navahos and Hopis mainly live on Indian Time, not Standard or Daylight, so clock hours get pretty vague. A shop is open when it's open and closed when it ain't. Things will happen before the sheep need shearing. That's good enough.

Be glad you're not sexting a Navaho.

I've been trying to catch you, but I just haven't been able to stay up late enough! LOL. I haven't forgotten though. I'll make it happen sooner than later!
