Now that eyer's gone I guess we can get back to doing what we used to do

Let's see......there's making fun of Ishmael's affection for box wine. That's always a barrel of monkeys.

For me, eyer is a conundrum.

On one hand I loathe some of his misogynystic and anti-gay posts.
On the other hand, I believe that in certain matters, his moral compass is right.

For example, he was among the few Lit. posters who intervened and set straight a couple of the "good" Lit. posters who were stalking and insulting me. (my latest insulter being SmootG, a Blurt Thread poster who tipically calls me "stinky curry-smelling Paki ass" and so on).
Whereas several Blurt members called me "an attention whore or troll" for the mere fact that I became upset over the stalking & brought it up.

So am I supposed to follow the trend set by the other lemmings and feel no sense of gratitude towards eyer? Or fail to demonize him entirely, and notice some of the good stuff as well as the bad stuff?
Nope. Not All of us are lemmings.

ADDIT.
But I shouldn't make this thread about me.
Eyer also intervened and set straight another "good" Lit. poster. When that particular poster picked on and made some vile comments about another poster's daughter.

Is he really gone? We shall see. I'm betting he'll be back.

Who is on Laurels Good GBers list? apart from glyndah the good witch of course. :)

I'm hoping I'm on Laurels Naughty Gbers list and that there will be disciplinary action as a consequence of my bad behaviour in the form of corporal punishment like a spanking :D

You know very well that my comments had nothing to do with the fact that eyer was banned.
And that as far as I could tell, Laurel seemed pretty impartial when she enforced the Lit. rules. And that she treats All Litsters in a respectful manner.

Omg not every post is about you.

Laurel is impartial and puts up with more sheep shit here than I have shoveled in my life as a farm girl.

It was a light hearted sexxy joke. Perhaps your knickers are a bit tight since you get them in a wad frequently.

Try not taking everything so personal. Or that if some of us post in a thread you're posting in must be aimed at you.

Next time I'll quote you and then you'll know it is aimed directly to or in response to something you've posted if that would make you not so jumpy.

Better now? Or is a booby hug needed? :)

This one (and a few of your other posts) Was about me. You have a habbit of getting involved whenever you perceive that the Cool kids are being criticized. But I have no hard feelings for you over that. You're ok.

And no boobie hugs, please.;):)

I didn't quote you or refer to you by name.

Get involved whenever the cool kids are being criticized?

If you mean Q and lovetoread?

I've been friends with them since I joined a long time ago. So yes they are friends. You claim they're the cool kids when there is no such thing here.

I've made a couple of comments because you have posted silly things about them I didnt tell you to to bugger off or call you names.

But if my posting in any thread you post in and then claim I am involving myself think what you like or put me on ignore.

I encourage people to enjoy themselves here and to keep their sense of humour with them all the time. There are hundreds of people on this board and you can hang with who you want, make new friends. Make new threads Sure some people are going to have different views from you or disagree but this place for the most part is interesting, diverse and unique.
