Let me be a little clearer.

It isn't submissive women that are challenging per se, not unless they are the worst submissives ever.

It's getting past the riff riff that show up whenever a woman identifies herself as submissive. Any post where I see a woman say she is looking to explore her sub tendencies makes me think of a teeming jungle, full of hungry predators and cautious prey. Suddenly, a prey stumbles, hurts her leg and starts bleeding. Predators everywhere suddenly sit up straight, sniffing, and then race towards her.

"So...you're 22 and interested in being submissive? I can help with that."

The natural result of this is that women posting about this are inundated with messages from guys who want to use her. Not dominate her. Not let her explore her submissive side. Use her.

Don't get me wrong. Women who want to be used is a very hot thing. I heartily support whatever your kink is and applaud you exploring it.

The issue is that using a woman is an aspect of most submission, but definitely not all of it.

So submissive women are challenging as hell. They want to explore that side of themselves, yet when they try, odds are good that they will be overwhelmed with men who think dominance is the same as selfishness.
