primarily this Jefferson quote I paraphrased in another thread;

"To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical." - Thomas Jefferson

Here's the thread, and there's the quote. The floor is yours spidey.

Every society passes a critical point very early on where they are sinful and tyrannical.

It's been two days and I'm still waiting. You're putting quite a lot of effort into avoiding my question.

And you'd be wrong. I asked Ish something he said about public sector unions, which was what the thread was about.

No, you did not. You changed the subject and never answered anyone's question which is what you do...

Is it tyranny to force someone to support the Democrat Party as a condition to employment?

Is SS or ACA Tyranny?

;) ;)

Spidey?

Is this what you want government to do to you?

The ACA mandates personal responsibility for you to provide health insurance on yourself and your family.

I realize "personal responsibility" to a glibertarian like you is equivalent to garlic to a vampire.

Perhaps if you had children of your own you'd realize the importance of health insurance.

The thread speaks for itself, and Ish refused to do so. He was quoted and asked about something he said about public sector unions, and then ran away, and is still running.

Please show me the questions that were directed to me about public sector unions, I'd be happy to answer them.

No one is forced to support any party as a condition of employment.

No, you refused to answer the question and now you are proving that you will never answer the question:

Is it a condition of becoming a teacher that you must vow loyalty, forever, to the Democrat Party?

For the 2nd time, please show me the questions about public sector unions in the other thread that I didn't answer.

Again, no one vows loyalty to any political party as a condition of employment.

Is it tyranny?

Do you have to fund Democrats to have a teaching job.

Yes or no.

It's not that hard. Well, I admit, if you are a die-hard partisan, then yes, it is.

So please, keep refusing to answer the question in order to answer our question...

The bolded isn't a question. Feel free to try again.

Okay, then forcing people to pay dies to the Democrat Party is tyranny.

Or, are you going with, "It is just a tax?"

You seem to be making up questions in your mind and not actually writing them on here. You also seem to be making up my answers.

I've answered your question. I'm still waiting for Ish to answer mine. I have a feeling this is one he's going to keep running from.

Being forced to be in SS, the ACA, and a teaching union...

I wouldn't consider SS a tax because it can be avoided by not working. Don't know enough or care enough about ACA. Union dues are dues, not a tax, they can be avoided by not working, or working in a right to work state.
