I'm laying 50-50 odds

Why is she toast?

Obama effectively called anyone concerned about the Muslim 'refugee' program a "racist." It's beside the point that Islam isn't a "race", for his own political purposes he has put his interests above that of the people that are legitimately concerned and insulted them in doing so. A great many of those people just happen to be registered democrats as well. Hillary can embrace that insult, or repudiate it. If she repudiates she becomes even more of a persona non grata with the establishment democrats. If she doesn't she even further alienates herself from the traditional base.

Can you point to the text in the speech where that happened?

Edited to add:

I did find this on the Fox News website:

He decried politicians who “insult Muslims” or target people “because of race or religion,” an implicit reference to some of the comments made on the Republican campaign trail including from Donald Trump.

Is that where "Obama effectively called anyone concerned about the Muslim 'refugee' program a "racist."?

He's been a self-serving asshole since he's been in office. His moronic "racist" remark is just another day in the life of The Fraud. It's nothing new. The Beast won't have anything to say about the Address and really doesn't have to. I don't think his puny speech will sway voters one way or another.

I was kinda hoping Obama would say something positive about oxygen last night, if only to watch Miles and Ishmael die of asphyxiation here today.

50-50 odds. You guys don't know miles. The reality is nobody would take that bet.

While you're all dreaming and wishing, can you wish me up the powerball winner and an egg salad sandwich?

Two of my younger workers asked me if I had purchased my ticket yet and I told them, don't be silly, I have a math degree...

;) ;) :D

I also studied maths and in my studies I discovered that 0 in 176,000,000 is not quite as good as 1 in 176,000,000 and when the payoff is 1:700,000,000, pot odds are in favour of a call for the $2 in this instance.

Math tells me that if I take all of the money I would have spent on tickets and put it in a growth vehicle then I will be odds-on an all out winner.

This is without taking into consideration the Social aspect of such a windfall. You lose all of your friends and family because they know you have the money and resent it if you do not give them some and when you do give them some, eventually you resent them for their ingratitude.

I'm not paying the tax on stupid.

Odds say investing $2 in a growth vehicle is going to buy you a couple shares of a stock that isn't likely to ever reach the $2 you invested.

It isn't a tax, it's buying an entertainment for $2 instead of going to see the latest Lucas abortion of a space drama.

Idiots are the ones who spend $50, $100 or more thinking they've changed their odds of winning.

But we talking about years and years of 2+2+2+2+2...

;)

Verses years of -2-2-2-2-2-2...

Not for me. I only buy a lottery ticket when the prize is huge and I only buy one.

Even if I took the entire $6 I spent in 2015 and invested it, I'd still be looking a penny stocks hoping to find Y-drone or Gaagle or something that might climb.

and I'd still have to go see the latest Lucas abortion at the theatre.

If you're going to piss away your money, do it in the drawing following a big payout; this way you better your odds of winning. Free money is free money, but no one respects free.

If you've got the cash - go buy 176,000,000 different tickets and hope nobody else hits along with you.

that's investing with a certain return of unknown quantity - same as buying stock.

Maths tells me that anyone that knows anything about mathematics wouldn't use the word "odds" when talking about probability.

Math also told you that one dollar, one quarter and one nickel equaled 91 cents.
