I'm laying 50-50 odds

Good questions.

Only time will tell.

I do not think he wants to be on the court; too much time and discipline.

I think he plans on being a celebrity community organizer/agitator and shakedown artist...

He's been doing that for seven years.

It isn't "crying wolf" when there is an actual wolf being pointed out. If the villagers decide to coexist with the wolf, that doesn't alter the fact that the alarm was valid.

First, yes it really does. When you coexist with a wolf it's called a dog and we do that all the time and they eat what we give them. Second muslim born in kenya who doesn't want to defend the country is not a valid claim by any standard and makes anything sane you say fall on deaf ears.

While I understand your point.... and most others will

That statement could not be further from the truth.

Yes it could. That is exactly how dogs were domesticated.

Ha! ok....

I am going to leave this alone.

But if you ever want to buy a wolf pup and raise it yourself let me know. I will pay for it. ( Assuming you do not have children in the house). Even I am not that cruel.

Domestication takes generations. It would be a while before I'd trust them to do what I want and I'd never go through the work. That doesn't make me wrong.

Several Generations in fact. You are effectively breeding down through selective breeding and at the end you no longer have a wolf. You have a Dog.

So yes. It does make you wrong.

A wolf is of the Canidae family, as are domestic dogs. They are both canids and of the Canini tribe. So, he's not wrong.

*chuckle* The "Breakfast Club" doesn't order Pop Tarts.

Either one of you can feel free to PM Vat re. my sources. He was attended our breakfast back in Sept. He's met half of my sources. All part of 'passing the baton.'

Or you can visit and I'll take you to the "club" meeting. Just keep your hand off my ass.

Ishmael

So, how did the club meeting go?

A wise man knows the difference between a wolf and a dog, and does not mistake one for the other.

A cat is a Felidae.

A lion is a Feliade.

Same Family.

A domesticated Lion is not a house cat.

Your argument is beyond fucking lame.

Stating a fact is not an argument. I recently attended a talk on wolves, and the experts said exactly what Sean and Pookie are saying.

I guess you're not going to leave it alone at all, but perhaps ramble on for days about it.

Your reply is fucking lame. I didn't claim a domesticated wolf was a house dog. They are both "dogs" though, just as your domesticated lion and house cat are "cats".

Sean R was way too simplistic with his first statement, but he wasn't wrong with his clarification considered.

Thank gawd I didn't say anything about dog poaching. :D

That falls under "what's in a name" category. The original statement remains true. We didn't domesticate dogs by capturing them and breeding them, The wolves that were already predisposed to tolerating humans started congegating around our settlements and formed a symbiotic relationship.

Also lions are much farther away from house cats than wolves are to dogs. They are an entirely separate subfamily.

Well now, the FBI investigation has now expanded into the arena of "public corruption." That certainly ups the ante.
