I'm sure we can all agree that an icy cold American brand is far superior to that warm, thick European crap.

Most definetly.

American beer and sex in a canoe.

Both are fucking close to water:D

And the warm thick stuff isn't beer...its Bitter

American "beer". It has to be served so cold because it tastes like gnat's piss.

There are some damn fine local Breweries that will stack up against European beer any day and beats most of their popular brands...

Can not speak to European local breweries.

Those new Guinness brands are worst than bush light.....

I'll quit drinking my PBR when the Communists pry the can from my cold, dead hands.

The warm thick stuff isn't in the fridge, that's all.

You should stop buying Chinese misbrandings of German beer.

Straight from the tap in a bunch of little pubs in the Southampton-Cardiff area last year.

It was all quite good but every once in a while I needed a nice light cold lager

When it comes to food in any possible way, UK people do something wrong. That's what I realized after eating a Döner in London.

MGD is good on a hot day by the lake because they go down easier than a lithe big tittied blonde 18 year old GB bi cheerleader gymnast.

American beer is a very poor imitation of beer,to call it gnat's piss is an insult to the gnat .

Saying all American beer is bad is just ignorant. There are a lot of good American beers, some of them from the large breweries and some are respected worldwide.
There is plenty of piss in a can but thinking that only Americans do that is simply wrong. There's a ton of beer from all over the world that is just awful. I mean it's like liquid evil. Terrible stuff.

I do like American beer.. shit I've been drinking it since I was 5. Most of the big brewers make piss. I think Coors light is awful.. but my fridge is always stocked with Coors Original... It is the banquet of beers after all.

Coors is ok but overated. The Cuban cigar of beers.
Of course taste has to be accounted for. Some people even like Bud Lite. I don't associate with them but they're out there. How it's the biggest selling in the world is beyond me ( I don't count the Chinese swill). Maybe everyone gets it as a gag gift on birthdays or something.

In the 1960s I had to search for good English or Welsh beers.

Now the choice of good beers in my local pubs (and supermarkets) is wonderful. We have two microbreweries and three (sorry four - I forgot the one that opened in December) micropubs in our town and a larger pub that constantly gets praised by CAMRA.

The Good Old Days weren't - at least for beer.

I'd be surprised if any American on this board who has spent much time in Germany thinks American beer is best.

The hot summer of '76 almost killed real ale for good. If it wasn't for CAMRA, we'd all be drinking that keg piss.

Beer is a general term. What most Germans drink is different than what most Americans drink. You can only compare types of beer and the Germans don't win in every catagory. In fact they don't win in most.

I've lived in Germany and love this local brewery that makes this tasty Kölsch. It's the only beer I can stomach.

I'm not sure if an American brewed German recipe is still American beer.
