Obfuscation is not an answer.
Blind trust in a lobbying group is okay?
Blind trust in anything is not ok...to me anyway ,but it sure seems ok to a fair number in here

You know exactly what I'm talking about.
If you're not just playing dumb, then I really feel sorry for you.
You don't trust the government in this case, but you all of a sudden trust them when they're inventing charges against (or assassinating) innocent people of a different skin color, who happen to be young.
Why is that?

I try to look at the facts in each case, even though the facts are often covered for by and for personal gain of those involved.
This case sounds fishy to me...
What about blind trust in the NRA?
Liberals, by nature, question everything. No one's followed this president blindly. Single-payer health insurance would have been better, and people have said so.
No one's coming to take away your guns. Laws and rules already in effect are being strengthened or being enforced. The gun show loopholes should be closed!
If you're going there, 20 million guns sold each year, 200,000 at gun shows.
It ain't much of a loophole.
A lot of show but not much go
Not that I doubt the numbers specifically but where did you get them?
So you trust the government when it's them against poor black kids, but not when it's the government against rich, old white guys.
Or do you have some instances where you can show that's not the case?
NO background checks are done at gun shows. THAT is a freaking loophole, dude.
NO seller at gun shows are required to do background checks. THAT is freaking loophole, dude.

I don't trust them against black kids but look at the stats.
Its hard to get to the truth in those cases. Way too many lies and it moves too fast. End result is a dead kid.
Here, everybody can sit back and figure it out before somebody dies.
If anybody dies in this one, its pretty clearly the government at fault
Not that I doubt the numbers specifically but where did you get them?
So... unarmed black teen, shot by government agent: Unclear
Armed white old guy, threatening to overthrow government, shot by government agent: Clear. That is the government's fault
Got it.
They are holed up in a building with no hostages and nothing around...why would the government want to start shooting...gotta get on to the next case?
or the donuts are getting stale back at headquarters
Don't be so harsh on Vat, Busy, et al.. Their blind faith in anything not Obama doesn't mean they aren't nice people.![]()

any grade school negociator could sort this one out
Perhaps the authorities should just block the access and leave the protesters there until Spring?
Your selective outrage is noted.
Smoke em out, and by smoke em, I mean set up some smokers and put in some brisket, pork shoulders, sausages, and chickens.
Make sure the beer and whiskey supplies are intercepted and not delivered.
Well you're really talking about multiple things. First, okay the news. I was just curious cus I'd never even heard estimates and frankly those estimates sound absurd. I don't know 20million since what year (Though I think the numbers from last year are readily available) but the estimates are 300 million guns in the US. If 20 mill is remotely normal that means every gun in the US was purchased in the last 15 years. Either that or the estimate is an absurd low ball.
As for it being a done fact not really. If guns were outlawed and collected by whatever means plus stiff penalties the problem would clean itself up relatively quickly. I mean the truth at the end of the day is that if you have an RPG in your house but you're so scared of being caught with it that you leave it in a hidden pannel under your garage well it may as well not exist as far as the current problem is.
