Old news, happened NYE while walking, black lab of all things. It's just a bit sore and tight today, walked yesterday and was alright.

I'm good, will be going to my Doc when he returns on Monday for a tetanus shot and such. As much as it pains me to say its not the first time I've been bitten by a dog. I'll just have to stop walking on rural streets and use City/County/State parks from now on. That's the only downside to outdoor fitness, people want to have dogs but don't realize they require full time supervision.

Oh, the dog in questions bitten a couple of others in the past, its now going to be placed on a "Vicious Dog" list which is going to cost its owner some degree of difficulty and expense. And surprise, surprise, its not current on vaccinations. However aside its aggressive disposition its apparently healthy and under quarantine. So I'm not overly worried on that end of the equation.

Nope...not even close. Just proof you can be walking on the side of a street not bothering anyone and a dog that shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised off a lease can came after you and bite you.

Like with a black eye? I used that excuse once when I was a child. My mom and I had, had a fight and I got sent to my room. She was cleaning up and threw my shoes into my room and I got hit in the face. it gave me a black eye and I told people I ran into a door.

I think she was really aiming for me, although she said she wasn't.

Actually it was a matter of the dog not liking any men or kids but not having a problem with women. For the most part dogs that'll eat up anybody else never bother me. I leave them alone, they leave me alone, then before you know it they want to be my best friend.

I'm a bit skittish of dogs that seem aggressive. I haven't been bit before, but there is a first time for everything. so, I stay away as much as possible. It's not easy to do when you're just out walking around like you are though.
