Good for you sweetie...I've been a runner all my life. Actually ran a marathon the year I turned 40. My late wife and I were active in breast cancer awareness and participated in Race for the Cure events at least twice a month. My wife would walk the 5k and I'd run the 10k. Great comraderie and motivation.

Happy New Year... Would love to attend your party...

I got into running initially for the incentive to workout regularly to control colesterol naturally. That is now in acceptable levels, but want to keep at it for weight loss. I been looking at various charity 5k events for inspiration. I upped it doing the MS challenge walk 50k over two days. Just did my third one this past September. My mother has MS so you can see how that is near to my heart, but my local gym supports many of its members in Paticipating in such events or organizing them (jingle bell run for arthritis, Race for a Cure, etc). Did a 10k trail race the past to years as another step up so I figure I got to up the game again this year, thus the 10 miler in august.

I love running too. I haven't yet but I would love running in a jog bra and Capri tights or bun huggers or a cute running skirt.

I find cycling really helps keep my legs in great shape, my ass too and is great for the gem clothes I love to wear. I do about 4000 miles a year, and just do other core exercises so I can keep the posture in my heels!

Less painful on my aging knees than running too!

I take spinning at my gym on a regular basis. Need to get a new bicycle seat for my bike before I can go on a bike hike with the ladies. Also do regular circuit training or boot camp classes. Great for the core work. Let the male gym rats scoff, but it is a hell of a workout & I am considered one of the girls. To bad I can't wear the yoga pants & sports bras with them.

I do loads of cycling too...

It's a really great way to keep slim and firm, I have never thought of buying women's cycle wear as Jenna is thinking of doing for running, I'll have to look st that! Cycling does allow even men to wear skin tight Lycra though!
