Sanders VS Trump

Gun to your head. Trump or Sanders?

No need for the gun to my head on this one. I want Bernie to win over all candidates. I happen to live in the real world, the one where he's entire campaign is more of a bone thrown to people who whine they don't get enough love than an honest attempt but still. And Trump? I don't think there is anybody currently politically active in the US that I wouldn't vote over him? President Huckabee, President Pornstar. . .sorry Palin. Mrs. " I am not a witch" shit who was that crazy woman who wanted Reid's seat back a few years and said if she didn't win it might be time to overthrow the government? (Sorry her words were something about 2nd amendment solutions  )

If it came down to those two, I would probably vote for a third party candidate, most likely Libertarian. I might write in "None of the above." As far as I am concerned, these two would be the worst pair of candidates in history. They would definitely be the worst in my lifetime.

Honestly if both of those are bad choices the fuck do you even want aside from a literal god descending from the clouds? I mean as stupid as I thought it was when people made that exact same claim in 2012 (it seems like every ticket since I've been old enough to vote is the worst possible candidates of all time) and at least then it made sense. Romney was only slightly right of center. If you didn't like Obama because he's a thrice damned centrist I can understand not liking Romney or Bush or Perry. They are all mild variants on the same thing but no love for either Trump nor Bernie? Bernie is too far left to realistically get elected for fucks sake. I mean it would be nice to have him and Warren fighting for actual change in the country but it would also be nice to Ghostrider vs Spawn on the big screen. I've learned to temper my dreams.

I'm torn.....my being a disabled vet and hopes of legalizing cannabis lie with Sanders.

But the guy is utterly fucking hostile to me making money, god forbid any of that happen. I'd just be another evil white male at that point instead of a disabled minority and veteran. So he wants to makes sure that I don't become evil white male by strangling any economic opportunity I might have to fucking DEATH with an astro-fuckin-nomical amount of pointless, market rigging for Sanders and homies only, bureaucratic fuckery and a 5,000,000% income tax.

So my wanting to run a business without having to carry the dead weight of so many fucking losers out there says trump would likely be more conducive to money making. But he's (R) and will likely try to shit on me because his party doesn't like the kinda business I want to do.

So as usual I wouldn't vote because it's a waste of fuckin' time.

Reality is (R) is such a cluster fuck of internal bickering they simply are not going to over power the jack booted lock step march of Fraulein Clinton and her cult of lemming followers. And she's a puppet for the 1%...another establishment pol who's going to give us all some more of the same ol' shit and fuck us all up the ass dry.

Who I want matters not.

I haven't voted for a winner since 1976.

Seriously, I can't stand any of them. Sure as hell don't want Bitch-on in there since it has already served two terms under it's other name Bill.

Don't know too much about the Bern, but since he's more or less an outsider, I'd go that way.

I'm more curious about Kasich or O'Malley.

There wont be a Republican President again for 24 years..

My crystal ball predicts this: The worst of each party will form groups, and the centerline grazers of the GOP and Democrats will take control, again. The parties will look like Sam and Alice NOT the Kardashians.

Bad news, one of the election experts is on the teevee now and says Donalds appeal is under estimated.

Hillary pulled her vanishing act at the debate, Trump will call it what it is: THE SECRET SERVICE CHASED EVERYONE OUTTA THE TOILET SO HILLARY COULD USEIT TO MAKE PHONE CALLSAND THE DEBATE WAS HER LEAST CONCERN.

To be honest, I'm more worried about that K-Trash Bitch being First Whore in a few years.

And Momma K-Trash being appointed (anointed?) Press Whore.

I'd vote Sanders. He seems the most honest out of everyone. I like my politicians like I like my comedians and casino dealers - brutally honest.

If it's Hillary I'll vote third-party unless she has a hell of a VP. Like Sanders. Or Elizabeth Warren. I wouldn't refuse to vote for a woman; I just don't like Hillary.

And frankly, I'd vote for Fred Phelps' reanimated corpse over Donald Trump, if only because he'd be too busy trying to eat his former congregation's brains.

I said Sanders. I figure a vote for Sanders is a vote for gridlock. Something we're used to. A vote for Trump...
that's a can of worms, and a dangerous one.

I don't have a dog in the fight, except as a citizen of the same world. But I'd vote for Sanders in a heartbeat over any of the other candidates. The only other who seems to have any integrity at all is Paul, and he doesn't seem to stand a chance.

Interesting. Why do you say that? Is he not like his father?

I think integrity is the biggest difference between father and son. Ron Paul didn't compromise his Libertarian principals. He felt he had to speak out as a matter of patriotic duty.

Rand has more ambition and willingness to compromise, so the libertarians seem to see him as a sell-out for joining the Republicans, but the message ... Well, I think everybody knows he was right about not going to war in Iraq II, and the Neocons were wrong, but they don't like having their noses rubbed in it, and Rand doesn't seem to have any answers anybody likes as to the way forward from the present mess.

So you're right, he doesn't stand a chance. Not only is he less of an idealist than his father, he doesn't have the grace under stress. For most Americans, he's not what we would call presidential.

Sadly, he's the closest thing to my political views running this cycle. Well, I suppose there are a multitude of republicans and democrats who feel my pain with regard to message/messenger.

I a Berner. . Berniac. Bernster. . .hey everybody was there a memo on what our clan name is? Cus I never got it and I'd like to know. We should really try that Republican thing where we get on one page, issue marching orders and do it.

Off that I don't have anything against Rand, I understand why he has such trouble with Republicans. He's quite simply not one. He plays for that team because he feels for right or wrong that his chances of success are greater as a Republican than they are as a Democrat and without knowing a lot about his home state I don't know if that is accurate or not. But like I said I do know that is what he thinks.

He lacks his father's charisma but part of his father's charisma is that same crap that plays well for Bernie. Apparently looking like the love child of Ebenezer Scrooge and Doc Brown is a good thing. If Rand let his hair grow out and dyed it white he might actually get some respect.

I could easily support him. Even his father's "racism" is something I'm able to look past and most of his crazy ideas aren't things I'm concerned about. I mean he's got just slightly higher chances of ending the Fed than I do of annexing Australia and turning it into a dinosaur preserve. So forgive me for being much more interested in his foreign policy than I am in that.

Still I do feel your pain if only in the "How in de hell is Trump your front runner!" sort of way. Granted by that standard I'm all about Jafar/Cruella Fiorina. . .Carly De'Ville. . . the evil one. So that's not fair.

I nearly choked at the Fred Phelps comment!

Bernie Sanders seems to be riding a similar wave to Jeremy Corbyn running for Labour party leader over here - so left wing that the traditional media don't give him a chance so devote little coverage to him, however traditional media is falling so far behind as a news source for certain demographics that he can overcome such a problem. If he starts to pick up momentum and look like a serious challenger then the trad media and establishment will go after him the way they do with Hilary, with any luck they'll be too late to stop him, as they were with Corbyn over here.

As a side note, I find Hilary's treatment by the American right as confusing as it is hilarious. By all accounts she's a fantastically intelligent person with great experience for running a country (neither of which Trump can lay claim to) yet she seems to be hated far beyond any normal politician.
